Okay.
I would like to do a couple that maybe will give you a chance to shift around a bit as you feel the need.

I want to do one of what I call the my Major V&V villains (Though all appeared in V&V Mods, I didn't make them up, maybe modified them a little).

and I think possibly one of all the heroes - Faces... done in a old Marvel (Avengers/X-Men) cornerbox style.

Would it matter if I did my interpetations of them... or should I stick with the original looks?

Well its not an Alex Ross painting anymore, but a V&V thingie.   But the link to my house rules still works.   Click on the V&V Logo to access my house rules.

I update them periodically.

Works for me as well.  It automatically comes out with a box asking if I want to open or download the file.

Clearing cookies sounds like a good idea.

I cannot seem to recreate the problem. I thought maybe there was a hotspot issue with the icon, but I dont see it. We did have some issues in centering the icon so maybe for some browsers or configs it's causing a hotspot issue.

could be something resident on your pc that is causing it to refer to cached code or something. That centering problem was fixed some time ago. I don't know what else to say on the matter, but at least you were able to get the file.

I figured it out! I now can get John's rules on the banner!

In UserCP->Profile->Options->Which Template would you like to use?

It had (for some bizarre reason) been set to Old YaBB 2.1 style

I didn't read through everything yet. The only other one  checked out was Heightened Attack.

The difference in the to hit roll equaling damage in interesting. Combine it with a Solid Hit and it's pretty rough on the opponent. Hit by only one and it's plus one damage. The character takes their chances.
