Sargassus: A colossus made of seaweed that surrounded Prince Drakker Island.  He was sent away when Stormbringer blew the Horn of the Deep.

The Ancient Mariner: Rhys MacKenzie. He claims to be over 200 hundred years old and found secrets to the Old Gods on distant, exotic islands.  He was told to invade Prince Drakkar Island and reclaim it for them. He failed and is imprisoned.   

Jolly Rodger:  This Sea Lich is  currently in containment by CHESS.

Fishwife:  A female Deep One acting as a henchmen for the Ancient Mariner.  She was killed.

The Sea Devil:  the Fishwife's consort and shaman of a community of Icthyothropes, or Deep Ones.  He had a trident that could generate fierce lighting bolts.  He was also killed when he stormed Prince Drakker Island.

Deep Blue: A powerful syren that could influence an army with her song.  She was feared by the Ancient Mariner, who locked her in his submarine's brigg.  When she was freed she turned on everyone, foiling his siege attempt.

The Rock Lobster: Just as his name suggests, he is s humanoid lobster with a rock hard shell.  He may even be stronger than even Captain Atlas!  He is still at large.  He is horribly addicted to tobaco, and this can be used to influence his actions.

The Man O War: A humanoid jellyfish with venomous tenticales. He was burnt to death by Kid Nemesis.

Tempest: An unknown native girl from some unknown primitive tribe that the Ancient Mariner found in the "secret sea".  She had the power to control the weather. She was killed in action.

The Sphinx:  Who is this time traveling uber strong bad ass?  We will probably never know as he was killed fighting Scion when she went back in time to prevent him from ruining the Sacred Marriage between Law And Chaos.

Vector:  He is still unknown, but he has a weakness for money.  He possesses a degree of superstrength, invulerablity and super flight.

Slammer  Ronald Cavanaugh Jr.  A construction worker who was buried alive in a buliding collapse.  He came out after three days transformed into a thing of living cinderblocks and rebar.   He was beaten by Scion, Agent Omega and then Captain Atlas.  He is contained in isolation in the D6HF.

Irving Greenburg:  He was a vampire buried in Flushing, the same grave yard as the Eidolon.  He made some poor groundskeepers into his thralls, and turned them into ghouls who ate the remains of his kills.   The ghouls are pretty meek, and so far, nothing seems to turn them back.  Greenburg may or may not have escaped with his unlife.

World Breaker:  A Moevian Miltary meta.  He has class ten strength on the Kirby scale.   He was beaten in combat by Marshal Strong.   He went back to Moev to nurse his wounds.

Organic Machine:  This living machine was created by the engineers on Moev.  It is an ultra powerful android capable of controlling its body on a quantum level.

Big Robo One: A series of robots designed by a child savant. He is constantly updating his Robos.  He is currently on Big Robo Four.

Big Jesus. I am guessing not a Meta but a Nut nevertheless

Frostbite:  An unknown being from a destroyed dimension.  He is strong, and has ice powers.  He is still at large.

Stentor:  A giant man with a giant voice.  He was defeated and  is in custody.   Came into existence with Frosbite, Fantastic Man and Moonbear.

Moonbear: An Indian cursed with a form or lycanthropy that turns him into a bear when the moon is full.  He wore a necklace that caused the transformation.   Not so much a bad guy in his human form, but suffers extreme depression.

Fantastic Man:  He had the powers of the comic book team, the Fanstatic Four.  He was the uncle of Fantastic Boy.  Ironically, both were killed by Magnum.

Black Swan:  All that is known about her is that she can make the improbable probable.  She is very powerful and escaped a horrible burning death from the hands of Kid Nemesis.

Pretty Girl:  Unknown teenaged girl with the power to be 'pretty strong',  'pretty fast' and pretty annoying.

Seven Brothers: unknown Asian man.  He has the powers of the children's book characters, Seven Chinese Brothers.  He is a serious threat.

Immaterial Girl: Unknown woman.  She has the power to become intangible and make others fall in love with her. She was rendered unconscious by Dick Dante.

Broadstripe:  A superhero with giant size, super strength and invulnerability. Unfortunately  he is about as agile as a bagel.

Brightstar: Broadstripes partner.  She is agile and has light powers.  She and her partner are employed as security for the Federal Reserve.

Triage:  Pretty Girl told Dick Dante that their team had a doctor.  But no one has seen him.  Was this a lie?

I swear I do not remember The Octopus dying. I thought he was just knocked out. I guess he bled out or I just did not realize he got crushed that badly.

   Empress: Lucia Wentworth, US Army a raw recruit but proven well on her physical and mental tests. Gained the powers of flight and super strength.  While nowhere near Captain Atlas in sheer power, Empress, as she now goes by, can heft a car with no problem. She can also project a stream of neutrons which she can use to form shields.


   Temptation: Nell Cantrell CIA. Besides turning absolutely gorgeous by the process, no useful super power has manifested.  Cantrell has gone on to secure a lucrative modeling contract and sells her own brand of perfume called "Temptation."


  Jolt: Barney Killigan USAF Computer specialist. Killigan was helpful during the so called
Triple Threat attacks at the World Trade Center.  He is one of the only Meta humans to wear a mask.  Although his identity is public, he has an inferiority complex about his rather dour appearance.   He gained the ability to generate large burst of electrical energy. Jolt is currently a member of Philip Manning's Mighty Seven



     Gates: Crystal Taggart US Army Intelligence. A real prodigy one of our aces in the hole.  Taggart is considered top secret.  Granted the ability to teleport herself and up to 300lbs of matter with her nearly a continent away is the ultimate getaway vehicle.


   Nexus: Joseph Turner US Army Psy Ops. With the ability to read people's minds, Turner is one of our chief assets.  However he must use a cocktail of synthetic drugs in order to separate other's thoughts from his own.  He has been known to go on "telepathic benders" where he forgoes all pharmaceutical dampeners and listens to the "chatter of the world".   He claims that the earth is being invaded by squid men from space.  He also claims to know about a telepathic intelligence agency called Interzone.   He heads up B13, and its public face FISH. 
Nexus is extremely stressed and always worried.  After Channel and Col Strong's retrieval of squid like bodies CHESS is taking Nexus very seriously.
Nexus was severely beaten by some unseen attacker.  This has left him in a coma.    After a while, his mind has gained the ability to project itself.  He roams the Black Mesa, as its ghost.    Nexus doesn't seem to mind, as he has become more powerful and is no longer dependent on his drugs.
Update: Nexus' body was killed when the Octopus took over the world's electronic systems.   Joe was mourned but it seems his spirit form is still alive, and yes, even more powerful then ever.


   Little John: Jack Hughes US Army corps of Engineers.  While his body was shrunk down to the size of a child's toy,   Jack's mind expanded to the tenth power.  One of the foremost brains on the planet is one of the top inventors of our time.  He and Harold Van Irye Cofounded the Brain Trust.


  The Quidnunc:  Harold Van Irye CHESS Rook.   .  Van Irye is the smartest man on the planet.   He is so far beyond  that CHESS thinks it will take 50 years for us to catch up to him.  So far he has developed such things as an interdimensioal doorway.  A Singularity Cannon.  A cold fusion generator and transformed

  In the South Pacific.  His personal bodyguard is Pillar.
UPDATE: The Quidnunk has been decapitated during the events of the Crime of the Ancient Mariner.  His still living head, for head can live for a few seconds after decapitation, was placed in the Null Room.

   The Burning Man: Karl Faustus.  The only non-American to be given superpowers so far, and our biggest failure.   Faustus was gifted with an immeasurable IQ, along with skin that secrets phosphorus and acid.  It burns on contact with oxygen.   The pain of having one's skin ignite and burn without causing one's death drove Faustus insane.   He is called The Burning Man and he is currently the most wanted man on the planet.  Before his insanity came to light he ordered Powerhouse to attack a Russian Military outpost.  This, Russian Incident along with the tender situation with

    Almost launched us into WW3.   He was captured and escaped numerous times.  He was last seen fleeing to Cuba.
Update!  The Burning Man was finally captured and is being held at the D6HF.

Peacekeeper. John Marcini.   While in the pod, Marcini was visited by Jesus Christ.  He was told his powers were a gift from God and he was to use them for the glory of God and for the benefit of all humanity.   When he emerged he was on par with Captain Atlas.  After a few missions, he declared himself loyal to no government, and that he would enforce only international laws that were for the benefit of all.   He wore the blue and white of the UN and adopted its crest on his chest.  He was the chief enforcer of

  That said that Island Zero was to be claimed by no nation.   He was killed over Mt Everest by the super being called Thor.  His body was never recovered.
Update!  He was one of the Four that were revived by Mr. Clean in New Moon.   He is currently working world wide saving lives and rescuing people.

Winter:  Ice based paranormal mindcontrolled by Chillaxe.  In CHESS custody.

Icicle:  Ice based Paranormal mindcontrolled by Chillaxe, in CHESS custody.

Chillaxe:  Henry Kim, younger brother to Coldsteel.   Formerly known as Chill, possed minor cold based powers. Was seduced by the power of Thrym's axe and  stole it from the vault during the black out.    He was defeated and killed by Mr. Universe,  Captain Warlock but not before killing his brother.
