Here is a list of known metahumans.  They are broken into three groups.  Sanctioned by CHESS,  Unsanctioned by CHESS and Rouge.

Sanctioned by CHESS  means they were created by CHESS and fully authorised.

Unsanctioned means created outside of CHESS but the means is known.

Rogue means created outside of chess and by unknown means.

  Col. Marshal Strong, USAF. He was an exemplary pilot, expert fighter, and skilled negotiator.  Gained a superhuman physique and leadership abilities.  Came into the public eye when he saved Delta Flight 345 from hijacking by Comrade Seven, a soviet super soldier gone mad.  He was instrumental in stopping Dr. Hiroshe and the Kodo Cult.  He claims to have traveled to the future and into other dimensions.  He was killed in action fighting Johnny West
AKA the Secret Shogun.   Marshal Strong was revived by Mr. Clean in New Moon
 
    Magnum: Mag Clarence Darber US Marine Corp.  Proved to be a solider of no mean skill in Serbia. He gained tremendous size, strength and magnetic abilities.  He was code named Magnum.  He teamed up with Lance Muldoon for many adventures.  He was believed killed in action stopping Dr. Hiroshe and the Kodo cult from tampering with history via a time travelling Island.  I know, it sounds crazy but I just write the reports.
Magnum was one of the four revived by Mr. Clean.  See Marshal Strong. Update: He died heroically saving the multiverse from the Adversary.


   Lance Muldoon of the FBI.  A stubborn workhorse with a keen eye for detail. He was a divorced father of two and proud Luddite.  He developed telekinesis and the ability to know when people are lying. How he became the most influential person in the 20th century is beyond me.   Read more HERE

    Captain Atlas: Captain Charles Nelson, also of the USAF.  Already a US Hero and space shuttle pilot.  He was the oldest of the 12, by nearly a decade.  He was 48 when he underwent the process.  He is our Superman.  Taking the name Captain Atlas, Nelson has a strength that cannot be measured.  He can fly, and can survive the impact from RPGs with not even a scratch. He can fly while carrying a tank!
  He took a space shuttle and flew to Mars and back.  While on mars he made the following report.   See CHESS files Mission to Mars
  He claims to have moved the Earth out of its orbit and back to avoid being hit by a killer comet.  Why he didn't just move the comet is a mystery.
UPDATE He was last seen battling Chthulu in space. Satelliets show alien crab like creatures taking his limp body away.

The Magnet: Joe Stone- Some one has to keep the hallways clean at the Black Mesa, and that someone was Joe Stone.  Overlooked and ignored while mopping the hallways of one of the most secret places on earth can get to you.  Stone applied for the process and scored well on the test.   He was dubbed the Magnet after he developed the power to attract and repel metal at will.  He can also bench press over a ton and a half. 

Pillar: Kent Ripley- USAF pilot Ripley has flown everything from gliders to space shuttles.   Recommended for the process by Captain Atlas,  Ripley was transformed into living stone.  He looks like the Thinker come to life.  His black skin has been transformed into pure white marble.  The plus is that so far, nothing has managed to harm his tough amour.  The minus is that he tends to need to sleep a lot to repair any cracks his skin.

Diamond: Janine Jenkins-like Pillar, Diamond’s skin turned super tough.  So tough that she thought she was invincible.  Unlike Pillar, she remained human looking. Her super strong and super tough body tended to make her a bit cocky.  She bit off more than she could chew and was killed when Wargod stormed the Black Mesa.

Shockwave: Clarissa Reynolds-CIA agent turned fugitive.  She freaked out when she couldn’t seem to control her new found powers to cause intense shockwaves. Her body vibrated so much she phased into the ground.  She panicked and destroyed a CHESS corridor.  She took off, phasing through walls.  She was talked into surrendering and everyone agrees that what happened to her was a result of inexperience with such powerful abilities.  She now serves as a CHESS field agent.

King Fu:  Kenny Kim- CHESS Bishop Kenny Kim was picked to be a metahuman due to his high test scores and his martial arts prowess. His already impressive skills were enhanced to the nth degree.  Always a bit of a clown,  Kim dressed like an Elvis impersonator and took the name King Fu.    He is a hit with the crowds.

The Sub Human:  Douglas Kern- Navy Seal Douglas Kern was on the short list for enhancement.  He was already an impressive oceanographer and wanted to make documentaries when he was done with the military.  His love of the sea manifested itself in his abilities.  He became a human Submarine.  He can breath underwater, he can survive any depth, and he sprouted four small fin like wings on his ankles that can propel him under water of fly him out of water. He became immensely strong,  bench pressing well over 80 tons!  He became arrogant and moody.  Sometimes very amorous, sometimes very combatant, sometimes very melancholy.  He dove into the water in the Dardanelles and was never heard from again.   With his powers,  he could still be under the water somewhere.  He is classified MIA.
Update:  The Sub Human has been a busy little marine human hybrid.  He has went crazy, founded a sea kingdom and attacked a cruise ship.   He is again lost at sea.

Deity: Darlene Debra  ( D.D)  Summers-   She claims to be the daughter of Pan.  And after the Pennsburg Incident  this may be true.    She was put through the process even though she was much younger than the others.   She so far has not shown any supernatural powers, but she does tend to sit in her room and space out.   She says when this happens she is having tea parties on the moon with  Mr. Lion Fire.    This was seen as a manifestation of insanity, until Lance Muldoon found a tea set in the Sea of Tranquility.

The Humanoid: Mary Bailard- A full grown human woman went into the pod, and a 120lb oozing glob of flesh colored goo came out. For short periods of time the goo can assume humanoid shape.    CHESS scientists are working with the Humanoid to see if they can coach her to retain human form.

Moon Girl:  Alicia Card- While in the pod,  Card said she saw visions of the Moon and Artemis, goddess of the moon.  She was told that she was to be her avatar on earth and pursue her interests in the modern world.  Moon Girl can affect earth’s gravity in small areas and she is scary accurate with a bow and arrow.
Update!  Moon Girl panicked fighting a Jellyman and went into a Metahuman state of psychosis.   A team of Moevians assassinated her.

Dr. Thunder: Dr. Oscar Wyllie – This is the guy we want.  Handsome, loyal, charismatic.  He is the poster for metahuman powers. While able to  press over 4 tons and have bullets bounce off his chest, Dr Thunder can lecture you about Ancient Rome and then fire a lighting bolt over your head.
Update!  He is currently the team leader of the Mighty Seven.

Powerhouse: Tyreek Toutpouisant- while born in Haiti Tyreek has served admirably in the US Marines.  Hand picked by Col Strong  Powerhouse is the ultimate American Superhero.  He is fiercely strong. Fiercely loyal, and he can fly.  While he was the instrument of the Russian Incident, he was cleared by a tribunal. He says he would have served his time had he been found guilty, and he would have to be on his honor, as no jail cell built as of yet can hold him.   The incident has only made him more determined to prove his worth and loyalty to the United States.  He is super strong,  can fly, and fires concussive blasts from his hands.
Update!  He was teleported away in a battle with Dr. Nadir.   Col. Strong saw a vision of him fighting for his life on some unknown planet.


Giant: John Walker- At first Giant was considered a great asset. But he snapped.  It is believed that the stresses of changing one’s size and mass all the time can do strange things to one’s mind.   After proving to be a valuable field agent, Walker snapped and was killed resisting arrest.  His growing powers have been duplicated by Charles Trevor  Giant II.

Knockout: Leticia Saunders- the second youngest of Project Red Cape.  Knockout gained impressive beauty, impressive strength ( her 120lb body can lift over two tons with out increasing her mass) and impressive reflexes ( she has swatted bullets out of the air).  Knockout’s greatest gift is her ability to manipulate her personal density.  She can go from nearly ghostlike, and pass through walls; to super dense and crush a diamond in her hand.  With this much raw power it is a godsend that she is super obsessed with duty and honor.   She conceder’s herself Col Strong’s legacy. Even though they only met for a few weeks, he seemed to really leave an impression on her.

Looker: Samantha DeRoche-  a computer hacker convicted and recruited by CHESS, Looker was selected due to her outstanding intelligence.  She was gifted with amazing senses. She can see anywhere she can wish with her “metavision”.  She can see an objects molecular structure and analyze it for a weakness. She can see in the infra red and beyond.   She is deemed top secret and is used for intelligence gathering.

Mr. Fiction: Henry Gabowski- While before the process Gabowski was  a perfect soldier. He worked for army Intelligence for 10 years.  After the process he became a wreck.   He always fancied himself a writer and planed to write the “all American novel”.  His powers must have come from his frustration of never being able to do so. He can create illusions that can trick the five senses.   He seems to have become addicted to his own powers so that he can almost no longer tell what is real and what is self created.   He has turned to drugs, notably heroine to deal with this.    He is pretty much a wash.

American Eagle: Kent Pierce- Quarterback of the Marine’s Football team, and all around good guy, Pierce was a natural for the process.  He came out of the pod with full on eagle wings, talons and “eagle eyes”.  He is super patriotic and an amazing aerial combatant.

The Silver Smith: Timothy Revere-  This descendant of Paul Revere was  the first political pick. Originally rejected for the Process by Lance Muldoon,  he was over ruled and pretty much forced in.  He has served perfectly as the Silver Smith. He can create and form a silver energy into any shape he desires.  His only weakness is that it has to take shape as something from colonial America.   CHESS shrinks are trying to get him to update his silver anachronisms for more modern shapes.

The Beacon:  Francis Howard-Boston’s Finest, Frank Howard was selected to become a metahuman for his high scores on the mental aptitude tests.  He gained light based powers and the ability to fly.  He  was one of the best.  He was a true inspiration and died a noble death defending New York from the Triple Threats.

The Lamplighter: Michael Cod- A CHESS physicist was picked as a counter to all the military men and women.  He physically changed into a translucent humanoid with glowing orb where his heart should be.  No one knows how he is still alive, as he seems to possess no organs. He can not help but glow and has taken to wearing a hooded cloak to mask his brightness. Due to his appearance he has developed a phobia of crowds. He is always the first to fly away and as such has never given an interview.

Aeon: Angel Martinez- She was caught in midair by Lance Muldoon as she jumped from a building.  She was born with cystic fibrosis and just wanted to end it all.  Lance coached her into the program and she emerged from the pod a radiant angel.  I mean a real angel. She has white wings, and can glow at will. She became so beautiful, its difficult to look at her.   She, like Peacekeeper, believes she is an agent of God.

Dr Graymatter: Dr Harold Grey- The oldest person to undergo the process. Harold Grey was a brilliant polymath. He helped Dr Apocopolos design the pods.  We emerged from the pod with Gray skin, an enlarged bald head, and atrophied muscles. He has the power to think faster than a computer and move objects with his mind.  He has since turned on CHESS and made an ally with the primordial Snake god Yig.

Jack Frost: Jack Campbell- Everyone loves Jack and no one more so than Jack himself. A shy introverted army desk clerk came out of the process the exact opposite.  While processing the power to generate blasts of ice and cold, he does so in a nice suit and with a dashing, devil may care grin.   TV Cameras love Jack and Jack loves the cameras. He has gone on every talk show in the world to show the world that Metahumans are not scary and you can date one if you get lucky.

The Octopus: Dr Clarence Fishburne-  Dr Gray’s assistant, Clarence underwent the process at the insistence of Dr Grey. He came out a horrible dwarven  hunchback with tentacles protruding from his shoulders.  The four tentacles and his own four limbs have earned him the name Octopus.   While normally brilliant, the process didn’t seem to ad or subtract from his natural intelligence.  He has proven his loyalty to CHESS when Dr Graymatter defected.   The Octopus sits in his lab all day tinkering away. Update  He was the mastermind behind the Octogon, the Blue Blood.  He was killed trying to take over the world.

Dr. Hiroshe: He usurped control of the Kodo Cult and made an allience with the alien race called  The Dura which gave him superior technology.  Doctor Hiroshe became public enemy number one when he unleased the Triple Threats on New York, Beijing and Tokyo. 
   Dr. Hiroshe was killed in battle with Magnum, Lance Muldoon and Col. Marshal Strong in his base.

Doc Hybrid: CHESS exobiolgist Martin Stern was studying the remains of the alien Dura that were left after their battle with Magnum.   For whatever reason, Stern injected himself with Alien DNA causing himself to mutate.     See Alien Ultimatium.
It was also believed that Doc Hybrid was a member of the  Octagon.

Anti Christ:  He was a loser gifted with powers by the Burning Man.  He was rebel from the get go, and when he got his powers, he rebelled against the greatest authority; god.   He was beaten and arrested by Scion and is currently in the D6HF.

Alpha Male:  Also gifted with powers by the Burning Man, Lance Rodman's ego was amplified along with his physical strength.  His strength was enough to bend steel, he could fly, project lasers from his eyes.  Bullets would bounce off his chest.  Alpha Man was god's gift to women, or so he thought.   He is now strutting his stuff under the Atlantic in the Deep 6 Holding Facility.

Bloody Mary: a total pychopath given powers by Burning Man during his stay in Cuba.  She didn't care about Burning Man's cause.  She only wanted to use her powers of bloodletting against anyone.   She is very dangerous.  Currently in the D6HF.
Update: It is not known how she escaped, but she did, and was caught again in New Orleans.

The Rumor:  Max Provo was the 21st subject of Project Redcape.  The thing is, no one has any documentation of this.   He gained the power to make people forget his very existance.   The only person immune to this is Col. Strong.   It was Strong who finally defeated The Rumor and put him away.


? Ray: Raymond Phelps was given the power to become superhuman.   That is, he becomes different superhumans.   When he first manifested his powers, he became Raygun; a sci fi looking space geek with a Buck Roger's gun.   The gun could fire any energy known.  When he was defeated, CHESS found out that the gun was a plastic toy.    He was presumed lost at sea.   He showed up later, transformed in a marine human hybrid. He called himself Manta Ray.  It seems he transforms into a different meta human after each defeat.  The only common theme is the play on his name of Ray.  He was given his powers magically by the deceased Dr. Nadir.  He also went by the name Manta Ray.    He just tried to escape by transforming into X Ray.  He turned non corporeal, emitted radiation and devitalization rays.  He is currently in CHESS custody again.
Update He transformed once again, this time into the Macabre  Death Ray!  He transformed again,  this time to the hulkish Gamma Ray!  He was tossed into the Sun by Scion in an extreme hissy fit.

Dr. Nadir

Secret Shogun


Mother of Nine Spiders:  one of the champions of the Kodo Cult.  She manifests power to give birth to up to nine deadly, venomous spiders.   She is also an accomplised martial artists.  She is in custody.

Wolfbrother:  Another Kodo Champion, and like all Kodo Champions,  he won the right to drink from the Black Grail upon winning a martial arts compition.  He was defeated by the Oni and is in custody.

Lucky Cricket: drank from the Black Grail and gained the speed and strength of a cricket.  He also was gifted with  extremly good luck.   It was this luck that permitted him to escape when the Oni brought down the Secret Shogun.  He is currently at large.

Sun Chained In Ink: Another Kodo Champion. He was a walking sun, who's power was held in check by a series of tatoos.  Oni and the Spartan tossed him into the Pacific, causing him to explode.

Tiger's Beautiful Daughter: drank from the Black Grail and became were tiger.  Her increased strength, speed and claws, along with her advanced martial arts training makes her a very formidable hand to hand fighter. She is currently in CHESS custody.

Zero: gained the power of flight, along with the ablity to fire rabid blasts of concusive force.  He would strafe his targets from above.    He was an advanced scout for the Secret Shogun, and was killed by Oni, when Oni was in one of his fouler moods.

The Waterman: Not much is known about the Waterman.  He is a creature from Japanese mythology.  He can breath underwater, and project electrical blasts.  He was an advisor to the Secret Shogun, and escorted Yoshi to the Cult's location.  He left after doing that and was never heard from again.   His only weakness seems to be his obession with cucumbers.
Update  It seems that another of this strange race was seen.   One attended the party the night of Dr. Nadir's reincarnation.


No Name: Is a puzzle.  Is he real?  Was he a figment of the Oni's fractured mind?  He said he was a real oni, a japanse devil.  He took the form of a tiny read horned humanoid, but no one ever saw him but the Oni.   Some say he didn't exist, but he did have ablities that the oni didn't have, like teleportation,  and maybe invisibltity.    Who knows,  he seems to have disapeared after the Oni's death.   And if the Yoshi sees him now, he is not telling.

The King In Yellow:  was never seen, nor is there any proof he even exists.  He was worshipped by a tribe of hidden savages in Thailand.  They protect a temple to him that is supposed to open every 25 years.  The Spartan and Oni prevented the temple from opening, keeping us safe for another quarter century.

Jade Chysthantimum: One of the Secret Shogun's elite.  She drank from the Black Grail and was transformed into a plantlike human with the power to grow thorns, and fire sleep spores.  She is currently hibernating in CHESS custody.

Buddha's Favorite Monkey:  A young boy who snuck into the Secret Shogun's chamber and ate a bowl of Fruit Loops from the Black Grail.  He was transformed into a smiling Bonobo Chimp with amazing luck.   During Oni and Spartan's assualt on the Secret Shogun,   Buddha's Favorite Monkey was knocked out, and as luck would have it, fell into a box, that was knocked out a window, landing in a jeep that a feeling Cultist drove away, crashing into a banana delivery truck miles away. 

Warrior In Jet:  Who the hell is this guy?   He was Yoshi's rival for the love of Tiger's Beautiful Daughter.  He was transformed into a cloud of darkness.  When he was deafted, his disapated into nothingness.  But is he dead?

The Celestial:  Former Secret Seven member and former CHESS agent, Jack Wu was  working undercover for decades as the Celestial.  He was the head of the Assassin Nation, reporting to Mr. Clean and keeping watch on his other co Secret Seven member, Johnny West.  He obtained a cache of magical items that give him undisclosed magical ablities.   He was arreseted by CHESS and just recently escapeted with Johnny West.

Channel:  James Hudson was a CHESS pawn who passed every test with flying colors.  He was selected to become an enhanced agent.   He gained the ablity to absorb energy and redirect it.    He could channel and rechanned most forms of kinetic and electromagnetic energies.    He was vastly powerful and was given the task of protecting  Clarisa Reynard, a gifted True Seer.  During the cross country fiasco, she was abducted and  Channel was blamed for it.   He since rescued her.  His adventures brought him to the Alternate reality of Acardia, where he earned the title of Dragonslayer.   Ironically, he was also killed by a dragon, the mighty Fafnir.

Mr. Impossible: was a private detective who gained the power to copy what ever material he touched.   He battled the Subway Pirates, and rescued the heroine, The Wonder.   He was killed along with Channel by the mighty Fafnir.

Marutuku:    He was a shamanistic priest of some alien god on Mythos Island.  He was killed in battle by Scion.

Mallus: A black elf assassin from Aearth.  He possessed a Black Orb capable of projecting absoulte darkness and distintigration.  The only thing that can withstand its power is a black velvet glove.  He was captured by Marshal Strong, the Cosmic Warrior, Elusion and Modi near the Artic Weather Monitoring Station.

Death Knight:  An undead Lich from Aearth.  He possed the Black Sword, a sword that absorbs all light and projects an aura of death.   It subjects all who touch it to a death touch.
    Death Knight was destroyed by Modi when he went berserk.  He was destroyed at the Artic Weather Monitoring Station.

Jack O' Lantern:  Sir Jack Rush of Cambira, Greater Albion, and Acolyte of the Mysterium.  He was stabbed by Elusion and aprehended by CHESS.  He confessed to being a "handler" for a mysterious being called the "Candlemaker", a being he fears, and feels he has lost control of.   Jack O'Lantern possessed a magic pumpkin that projected fire in any shape he desires.

Atalanta: Another metahuman from Arcadia.  She modeled herself after the Greek Heroine of Myth.  She was superfast and an expert with hunting type weapons.  She was aprehended and is currently undergoing questioning in the D6HF.

Sera:  She claimed to be the daughter of Ares.  She  killed Elusion when she tried to free Gen. Buffet from prision.   She was aprehended and is currently in the D6HF.Update She was killed by Magnum, Omega Girl and Marshal Strong when the Octopus went rogue.

The Laughing Man:   David Marsh is a psychotic killer.  He is also a trained, proffesional killer.  When in action he can not help but laugh.  This laugh irritates his targets and causes them to lose focus.  He is currently incarcerated.

The Bogatyr:  A swamp walker. It was killed by Modi when they rescued Powerhouse's sister from the Skeleton Krew.

Mojo:  He gives the Skeleton Krew their orders in New Orleans.  He ordered Powerhouse's sister captured as revenge for her boyfriend, Trevor quitting the Skeleton Krew.

Moldy Mary:  Not much is known about this old witch.  She lives in the dark under the paved streets of London.  She walks the buried rivers and harvests strange fungis.  She assisted Dr. Dante and taught him a brew that gave him four visions.  It is believed that she charges for her services to finance her orphanage.  As of yet, no one has found her orphanage.  But no one wants to challenged to ancient hag.

Fantastic Boy: Richard Franklin was either summoned by the Dark Warrior, or created by him.  It is not understood which.   The boy has the power to create  four simulacrums with fantastic ablities.
     1. Dr. Elastic:  A rubbery genius
     2. The Invincible Woman:  A woman with super strength, and a super force field.
     3. The Inhuman Torch:  A firey fiend.
     4. The Lump:  A mishapen misanthrope.

Update He was killed by Magnum when the Octopus went rogue.

Ereskigal:  Scion's sister and one of the Seven Scions. She is pale white with dark hair and bat wings.   She so far as not taken any action for or against Scion.

Saturna: Another of Scion's sisters, one with allegience to Law.

Nyx: Another "gothy" sister of Scion.  She tends to favor Chaos.

Belladonna and Mandrake: The famous husband and wife team of magic and mystery are not just stage performers.  They are also members of the Esoteric Order of the Dragon and the founders of Pentacrime.

The Subterranean:  The orginal  Subterranean was an unknown human who tasted the flesh of the Mushroom God.   The second to call himself the Subterranean is former CHESS scientists, Horace Misk.  He became obessed with the fungus recovered  from the former Subterranean's lair.    He snuck it out of the Black Mesa and ran, screaming into the night.
    He is superhumanly fast, strong, and can mutate man and creatures by forcing them to eat the flesh of his god.  He also commands an infininte amount of Moldoids.

Dr. Robug: Cheif of robotics at Manning Enterpises, Dr Robson has become obessed with Insects.  He believes them to be "God's robots".  He has been using insects as designs for his robots.   He also designed the "Zomborgs" with Dr. Morrow.    Dr. Robug is known to have metahuman powers, but what they are is currently not known.

Dr. Tom Morrow:  Thomas Morrow is a brilliant, but sociopathic scientist.  He is the world's leading expert on biology and mutation.   He says he can advance the human race by millions of years by unlocking the secrets of junk DNA.

Goldilocks: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen.  Nothing yet is known about her other than her name, and that she is suposed to be a sociopath.  Imprisioned

Asp: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen. Imprisioned

Rapture: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen.  Imprisioned
Honey Bee: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen. Imprisioned

Go Girl: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen. Imprisioned

Mayfly: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen. Dead

Mother Goose Stepper:  One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen.  She is supposed to be the team leader. Dead

Ether: One of Dr. Robug's henchwomen. Dead

Sargassus: A colossus made of seaweed that surrounded Prince Drakker Island.  He was sent away when Stormbringer blew the Horn of the Deep.

The Ancient Mariner: Rhys MacKenzie. He claims to be over 200 hundred years old and found secrets to the Old Gods on distant, exotic islands.  He was told to invade Prince Drakkar Island and reclaim it for them. He failed and is imprisoned.   

Jolly Rodger:  This Sea Lich is  currently in containment by CHESS.

Fishwife:  A female Deep One acting as a henchmen for the Ancient Mariner.  She was killed.

The Sea Devil:  the Fishwife's consort and shaman of a community of Icthyothropes, or Deep Ones.  He had a trident that could generate fierce lighting bolts.  He was also killed when he stormed Prince Drakker Island.

Deep Blue: A powerful syren that could influence an army with her song.  She was feared by the Ancient Mariner, who locked her in his submarine's brigg.  When she was freed she turned on everyone, foiling his siege attempt.

The Rock Lobster: Just as his name suggests, he is s humanoid lobster with a rock hard shell.  He may even be stronger than even Captain Atlas!  He is still at large.  He is horribly addicted to tobaco, and this can be used to influence his actions.

The Man O War: A humanoid jellyfish with venomous tenticales. He was burnt to death by Kid Nemesis.

Tempest: An unknown native girl from some unknown primitive tribe that the Ancient Mariner found in the "secret sea".  She had the power to control the weather. She was killed in action.

The Sphinx:  Who is this time traveling uber strong bad ass?  We will probably never know as he was killed fighting Scion when she went back in time to prevent him from ruining the Sacred Marriage between Law And Chaos.

Vector:  He is still unknown, but he has a weakness for money.  He possesses a degree of superstrength, invulerablity and super flight.

Slammer  Ronald Cavanaugh Jr.  A construction worker who was buried alive in a buliding collapse.  He came out after three days transformed into a thing of living cinderblocks and rebar.   He was beaten by Scion, Agent Omega and then Captain Atlas.  He is contained in isolation in the D6HF.

Irving Greenburg:  He was a vampire buried in Flushing, the same grave yard as the Eidolon.  He made some poor groundskeepers into his thralls, and turned them into ghouls who ate the remains of his kills.   The ghouls are pretty meek, and so far, nothing seems to turn them back.  Greenburg may or may not have escaped with his unlife.

World Breaker:  A Moevian Miltary meta.  He has class ten strength on the Kirby scale.   He was beaten in combat by Marshal Strong.   He went back to Moev to nurse his wounds.

Organic Machine:  This living machine was created by the engineers on Moev.  It is an ultra powerful android capable of controlling its body on a quantum level.

Big Robo One: A series of robots designed by a child savant. He is constantly updating his Robos.  He is currently on Big Robo Four.

Big Jesus. I am guessing not a Meta but a Nut nevertheless

Frostbite:  An unknown being from a destroyed dimension.  He is strong, and has ice powers.  He is still at large.

Stentor:  A giant man with a giant voice.  He was defeated and  is in custody.   Came into existence with Frosbite, Fantastic Man and Moonbear.

Moonbear: An Indian cursed with a form or lycanthropy that turns him into a bear when the moon is full.  He wore a necklace that caused the transformation.   Not so much a bad guy in his human form, but suffers extreme depression.

Fantastic Man:  He had the powers of the comic book team, the Fanstatic Four.  He was the uncle of Fantastic Boy.  Ironically, both were killed by Magnum.

Black Swan:  All that is known about her is that she can make the improbable probable.  She is very powerful and escaped a horrible burning death from the hands of Kid Nemesis.

Pretty Girl:  Unknown teenaged girl with the power to be 'pretty strong',  'pretty fast' and pretty annoying.

Seven Brothers: unknown Asian man.  He has the powers of the children's book characters, Seven Chinese Brothers.  He is a serious threat.

Immaterial Girl: Unknown woman.  She has the power to become intangible and make others fall in love with her. She was rendered unconscious by Dick Dante.

Broadstripe:  A superhero with giant size, super strength and invulnerability. Unfortunately  he is about as agile as a bagel.

Brightstar: Broadstripes partner.  She is agile and has light powers.  She and her partner are employed as security for the Federal Reserve.

Triage:  Pretty Girl told Dick Dante that their team had a doctor.  But no one has seen him.  Was this a lie?

I swear I do not remember The Octopus dying. I thought he was just knocked out. I guess he bled out or I just did not realize he got crushed that badly.

   Empress: Lucia Wentworth, US Army a raw recruit but proven well on her physical and mental tests. Gained the powers of flight and super strength.  While nowhere near Captain Atlas in sheer power, Empress, as she now goes by, can heft a car with no problem. She can also project a stream of neutrons which she can use to form shields.


   Temptation: Nell Cantrell CIA. Besides turning absolutely gorgeous by the process, no useful super power has manifested.  Cantrell has gone on to secure a lucrative modeling contract and sells her own brand of perfume called "Temptation."


  Jolt: Barney Killigan USAF Computer specialist. Killigan was helpful during the so called
Triple Threat attacks at the World Trade Center.  He is one of the only Meta humans to wear a mask.  Although his identity is public, he has an inferiority complex about his rather dour appearance.   He gained the ability to generate large burst of electrical energy. Jolt is currently a member of Philip Manning's Mighty Seven



     Gates: Crystal Taggart US Army Intelligence. A real prodigy one of our aces in the hole.  Taggart is considered top secret.  Granted the ability to teleport herself and up to 300lbs of matter with her nearly a continent away is the ultimate getaway vehicle.


   Nexus: Joseph Turner US Army Psy Ops. With the ability to read people's minds, Turner is one of our chief assets.  However he must use a cocktail of synthetic drugs in order to separate other's thoughts from his own.  He has been known to go on "telepathic benders" where he forgoes all pharmaceutical dampeners and listens to the "chatter of the world".   He claims that the earth is being invaded by squid men from space.  He also claims to know about a telepathic intelligence agency called Interzone.   He heads up B13, and its public face FISH. 
Nexus is extremely stressed and always worried.  After Channel and Col Strong's retrieval of squid like bodies CHESS is taking Nexus very seriously.
Nexus was severely beaten by some unseen attacker.  This has left him in a coma.    After a while, his mind has gained the ability to project itself.  He roams the Black Mesa, as its ghost.    Nexus doesn't seem to mind, as he has become more powerful and is no longer dependent on his drugs.
Update: Nexus' body was killed when the Octopus took over the world's electronic systems.   Joe was mourned but it seems his spirit form is still alive, and yes, even more powerful then ever.


   Little John: Jack Hughes US Army corps of Engineers.  While his body was shrunk down to the size of a child's toy,   Jack's mind expanded to the tenth power.  One of the foremost brains on the planet is one of the top inventors of our time.  He and Harold Van Irye Cofounded the Brain Trust.


  The Quidnunc:  Harold Van Irye CHESS Rook.   .  Van Irye is the smartest man on the planet.   He is so far beyond  that CHESS thinks it will take 50 years for us to catch up to him.  So far he has developed such things as an interdimensioal doorway.  A Singularity Cannon.  A cold fusion generator and transformed

  In the South Pacific.  His personal bodyguard is Pillar.
UPDATE: The Quidnunk has been decapitated during the events of the Crime of the Ancient Mariner.  His still living head, for head can live for a few seconds after decapitation, was placed in the Null Room.

   The Burning Man: Karl Faustus.  The only non-American to be given superpowers so far, and our biggest failure.   Faustus was gifted with an immeasurable IQ, along with skin that secrets phosphorus and acid.  It burns on contact with oxygen.   The pain of having one's skin ignite and burn without causing one's death drove Faustus insane.   He is called The Burning Man and he is currently the most wanted man on the planet.  Before his insanity came to light he ordered Powerhouse to attack a Russian Military outpost.  This, Russian Incident along with the tender situation with

    Almost launched us into WW3.   He was captured and escaped numerous times.  He was last seen fleeing to Cuba.
Update!  The Burning Man was finally captured and is being held at the D6HF.

Peacekeeper. John Marcini.   While in the pod, Marcini was visited by Jesus Christ.  He was told his powers were a gift from God and he was to use them for the glory of God and for the benefit of all humanity.   When he emerged he was on par with Captain Atlas.  After a few missions, he declared himself loyal to no government, and that he would enforce only international laws that were for the benefit of all.   He wore the blue and white of the UN and adopted its crest on his chest.  He was the chief enforcer of

  That said that Island Zero was to be claimed by no nation.   He was killed over Mt Everest by the super being called Thor.  His body was never recovered.
Update!  He was one of the Four that were revived by Mr. Clean in New Moon.   He is currently working world wide saving lives and rescuing people.

Winter:  Ice based paranormal mindcontrolled by Chillaxe.  In CHESS custody.

Icicle:  Ice based Paranormal mindcontrolled by Chillaxe, in CHESS custody.

Chillaxe:  Henry Kim, younger brother to Coldsteel.   Formerly known as Chill, possed minor cold based powers. Was seduced by the power of Thrym's axe and  stole it from the vault during the black out.    He was defeated and killed by Mr. Universe,  Captain Warlock but not before killing his brother.
