Does anyone have any write ups for the Autobots or Decepticons? I'm fairly new to the game, but I'm a long time RPG player, my GM is taking a break so I'm going to be running Transformers. I'll probably make my own in the end, but I'm looking for some inspiration. Any posts on how to do robots in general would be great. I'll be sure to post my results.

Hi!
Welcome to the boards!

I was never a hard core Transformers fan but it seems like:

-Robotic Body which gives Heightened Strength and increased weight
-Size Change larger, permanent
-Transformation to car. Maybe this is a "lesser form" as per the rules and gives a speed bonus to 100mph, depending on the vehicle type.

That's for starters. Then some of them fly and/or have interesting attack forms.

I'd be interested to see what you come up with!
Again, welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Robotic Body and Transformation are both good ideas, I've been looking into them. So far progress has been good. I'm going to start from making a basic transformer and use that as a basis for all the others. This system is surprisingly flexible and allows for a crazy amount of customization so right now I'm just trying to work out the weight balance. I don't want to overload them with HP or battles will take forever, but too much damage can also be a bad thing. Also rolling dice can be fun, but can get out of hand quick with high CC.
I was thinking I would just use the base vehicle weights to determine the transformers weights. Then to keep HP and CC from being way out of control I would reverse the 5x weight modifier from robotic body, so I would record their weights as 4000 but treat them as 800 as far as math is concerned.
Have you done the math on any large creatures or mecha? That or any house rules on weight would be helpful.

I appreciate the welcome post, hopefully I'll be around for a long while.

Ok, this is my first go. Input is very welcome!

Cybertronian  Level 1

Weight 4000 (treat as 800 for Hit Points)
Base Hits 80 (treat as 16 for knock back against other large)
Carrying Capacity 20,000
Hit Points  73(Would be 366 if used full weight)
Power 76
Movement  100

Str 20
End 20
Int 20 +1 Damage
Agi 10
Cha 10

Natural Weaponry  +1 Attack  +2 Damage

Hand to hand Attack +1  Damage 3d10+3

Self Powered Energy Weapon 1 Power
Range 60 Hit +3 Damage 4d10+3

Transform (Car)
Can move 120 Mph(max)
Can carry 4 Passengers.

Self Healing Robotics
Transformers have the ability to heal themselves unaided unlike other robots.

Alien Vitals
Transformers do not die officially unless their spark is extinguished, otherwise they take damage normally.

(Robotic Body, Large 2 are already present in the math)

(I used 800lbs, which is weight divided by 5, for the purpose of hit points to keep them from getting out of hand)

Great job.

Don't know enough about the show to give detailed feedback, but looks solid.

Well more or less I would just like to know about the weight conversions. The high HP and low damage makes for very long battles. I figure lowering all the HP by dividing the effective base hits by five is the best way, but if you know any other ways for making large or heavy characters without overpowering them it would be very helpful.

Also, if you haven't seen the new movies they are good for people that aren't even fans, I highly recommend rent the first one.

I'm still tuning what I got. In retrospect their intelligence should be lower. I'll post more once I have play tested some.
