Fights you want to see.

Capt. America (Steve Rogers) vs. classic Deathstroke: The Terminator (Slade Wilson) (when these guys were in their prime, they were basically the ultimate human fighting machines. This comic would rock.

Adrian Chase.  And for the record,  he goes down like a brick if faced off agaisnt that mad man Frank Castle.  Anyone read the MAX series?   Castle is one of the best fighters in the comic book universe.  I think Batman would be toasted by Frank.

I think Captain America would beat Deathstroke.  Not at first.  First Slade would beat Steve seven ways to Sunday.  Then Cap would make it his mission to take him down.  When it comes to planning,  Batman is the only one that comes close to Cap.

Darkseid vs Thanos.  I call Darkseid for two reasons.
A.  Thanos is the universes biggest maschocist.  He loves to be beat.  The easier it is for him to win, the more he sabotauges himself. 

B.  Darkseid, while he has lost a few battles, is still fighting the same war.  I really think that Darkseid is some dark shepard, leading his flock ( ei everyone) towards some sinister end.  He shows up when they stray to far from his scheme, and goads them back to his path.  If it  means he takes a beating inorder to do so, its cool with him.  He knows that some day he will have his anti life equations, so its ok what happens in the short term.


The Avengers vs Braniac Luther?   Just think of this as  The Avengers vs Korvac and Ultron.  This is a tough one.  I have to think.

The Punisher vs. Batman's rogues gallery, excluding the Joker, as he's a special case.

There is a reason Frank doesn't have recurring villains.

To tell the truth,  I have no comics with the Punisher and the Kingpin.  He is never mentioned in the max series. I never picked him up until Garth Ennis took over.    It makes sense they would fight.  Did Frank ever shoot him?

More comic fights that I want to see. Galactus vs. Darkseid. Come on, can you imagine him trying to devour New Genesis?

Two women, one in skin tight leather, the other in fishnets.  I think its the fans that win that one....

I think Natasha will keep Mrs. Queen on the ropes for a long time.   Nastasha will press her advantage until a very frustrated Canary lets loose with a song that knockes the Russian spy for a loop.

Lets go to Dsumner's pick, which is still unanswered.   Who wins a tech war, Lex Luthor or Tony Stark?

Lex vs Tony:
I see Lex as a schemer where Tony's more of a action oriented man. I know that recent history has changed that and flipped the coins on both counts.

I would see Lex putting up a good fight and not fighting fair, but, in the end, Tony would beat him with better technology and slightly longer ranging plans.

Wonderman vs Captain Atom

Captain Atom beats up Wonder Man.   Why?  Captain Atom has Superman level strength and invulnerablity AND he controls all forms of energy.    Put him up against a guy MADE of energy and you have a massacre.
  Sorry, but Simon doesn't stand a chance against Nathan.


MoonKnight Vs Knighthawk.

The Defenders version.

I think with just plain fists, I would have to go with Black Panther.   He can bench press 800 pounds and has enhanced aglity and senses.    It would be a good fight, but I think T'challa would mop the floor with him.   He fought the Fantastic Four to a standstill.   I think people underestimate him.

Yeah, I can see Batman coming up with some cool gadget to neutralize T'Challa for a bit, but the BP would win solidly in the end.

Black Panther is another of those characters that - like the Beast and Spider-Man - comes out with hella HP in V&V, due to the fact that he's got really good Basic Characteristics across the board - Strength, Endurance, Agility, Intelligence (and even Charisma, though it doesn't factor into HP).
