What are your favorite superhero origin stories?

My all-time favorite is probably Hal Jordan's original origin story as the Green Lantern. I realize that one's an obvious choice.

Of all the Wonder Woman origins, I've always liked the version from Challenge of the Superfriends in which she secretely competed (against her mother's wishes) to become the Amazon ambassador to assist the Allies in 1941.

I liked Cyborg's from the New Teen Titans, Superman's, Capt. America's, and Iron Man's original origin (The one where he had a bad ticker).

I always thought Spider Man's was as close to real literature as you can get.  Next was Superman's. Honorable mentions are Batman, Punisher and Hawman.

the worst is Shadowhawk.  He got aids and wants to fight crime. Huh
