As many have noticed (I just read somebody complaining about this in V&V over on WebRPG earlier today), the jumping rules as written are a little wonky.  Over on this forum today, somebody commented about how a regular person could jump so far that it could pretty much splat and kill them.    Grin

Here's the revised Jumping rules that I came up with a long time ago, and they've seemed to work really well.

8.4 LEAPING TALL BUILDINGS AND THROWING TRUCKS (p. 45)
In place of the jumping rules set forth in the rulebook, which base jumping ability on Carrying Capacity, use the following formula:

Base Jump = Strength + Agility

Running Jump = Base Jump x .7 (the character must still run at least ½ the distance on the ground before jumping)

Standing Jump = Running Jump x .5

Vertical Jump = Standing Jump x .3

All totals are given in feet, so divide each total by 5 to determine game inches.
