The Chili Incident
Jul 17th, 2010 at 2:04pm
Print Post
Ok, two strikes.  Last session, I didn't make enough Chili,  this session I burnt it.   So how about next time I try something new.  I will make some pasta and homemade sauce.   I am thinking about regular sauce and then mabye a small pan of alfredo carbonara  ( a fancy way of saying alfredo with some bacon bits mashed up and sprinkled in it.)

What do you say.

Anyone brave enough for Jambalaya?

I am scary, very, very scary.

The chili wasn't that bad.  Was pretty good actually as a burrito.

Pasta is cool!

Jambalaya I think the guys would like as long as they all like sausage.

Ahem,  We'll leave that last comment alone. Since I have already stated I barely eat during the week since I get home too late then burnt Chili is quite tasty to me on the weekends. Burnt sausage however would be an issue........

You know, I'm ready for a change.  After two chili mishaps I was ready to start bringing a ham and cheese sandwich from home.  I'm up for anything that is a.) not chili.  And b.) not burned.  Last time I had just a teaspoon full and it gave me agida.  There's nothing more foul than a burnt chili burp.  I know you did your best, and I don't mean to criticize, but let's face it, we all could have died.

You know what?  It's about time I stepped up here and did my part!  Poor John's taking all the heat for an unfortunate series of Chile catastrophes.  Let me ease your burden.  How about I prepare Friday nights meal?  I don't cook a lot but  I do have one signature dish.  A little something I like to call "Corn Chex with bananas".  Whaddaya say?

Okay this friday's food was pasta with sauce.  And if I do say so myself, it was pretty good!  (I rock!  at picking out two good jars of sauce.  LOL)

If you're coming this friday, pasta again?  John liked it, Oni liked it and I am sure if Marshal Strong appears he will too.  And let's not forget Stormdance if he doesn't bring his own.

I enjoyed making dinner and it was very easy to make and clean up was simple.  let me know boys.

Ahhh...I had a little pasta today. Depends on what I eat tomorrow. If the sugar is level is low enough maybe. Pasta and sauce seems to have a lot more carbs than a sandwhich.

It did look REALLY good though!

I think this week we shall try Sloppy Joes on hamburger rolls with noodles.

And I will get El to dress as the lunchlady while serving it.  Complete with hair net and wart with antennae.

I'm jealous I won't be there!

Anyway, I'm sure you'll still find a way to kill off Elusion. It was nice knowing him.
