Well things went pear shaped on my last game session, too many things came up in the real world and most of the players had to bail on the session.

Ahh well, that gives me more time to plot out stuff for our next game session I guess.

If any of my players peruse this forum try and keep from checking out Dr Glisan's character sheet (that I am about to attach to this post!)

Last nights game went well, I had three players show. Midnight WIz, Ion, and Iron Bow went a couple rounds with Impact, Inferno, Shrike, and Dr Glisan himself!

Finally managed to update the adventure log, tomorrow night is our groups next session but you can read about the last one in Death in a small town!

Bit of a short post but the session was kind of short too.

Im curious, do you guys have a House Rule for Armor B?

Blue Dynamo's weight, base hits and hit points seem awful high otherwise?

Nope, we aren't using any house rules for Armor B at this stage. I may have calculated a few things incorrectly. Outside the armor the guy is a complete wimp, while wearing it he is a powerhouse.

In that  case I think you might be applying some Armor A rules to the Armor B set up

I think you're right, Ranger.

I've long thought that Armor B should add some weight, so I came up with the following (which is now part of our Supplemental Rules):

Armor: (p. 9)
Type (B): For technological or magical armor, as a general rule the added weight is equal to ½ the ADR value. Thus, an ADR of 100 would usually have a weight of 50 pounds. This is not a hard and fast rule, however; advanced technological light‐weight armor might weigh considerably less, and special magical armor might weigh a great deal more. This total will increase the character’s actual weight, and thus will apply when they are being carried or taking knock‐back, but it does not factor into such things as Basic Hits (for the purpose of computing Hit Points) or Carrying Capacity.

You are right, I just haven't gotten around to redoing the sheet. He went down rather quickly once Ion hit him with gravity control, it isn't easy doing anything once you weigh 16 times your normal weight.

His base hits should be 3, HP of 6. The armor should modify everything else though (carrying cap, etc) since it adds strength and endurance, not to mention he wouldn't be trying to carry anything outside the suit (63 pound carrying cap outside the suit)

Thought I would upload another of the villains from my campaign. This one was part of the jailbreak from Castle Rock and also the first to be recaptured.

Dude you have some hellaciously painted models. I just love the Dynamo model. Makes me want to make my own armoured character based off the vibe I get off it

I need to get around to painting up some of the PPD's special ops crew. I have a bunch of armored guys for that, all matching armor a couple of reused poses since the line only has 4-5 of that particular armor so far. I am using the NOVA Corporation fig's from Reaper for the PPD squad.

I used a metallic medium from valejo paints to get the base color of Dynamo. It can be mixed into any shade of paint to get that metallic look, or it can be mixed in with a gloss coat to just add shiny over the top, I like the look it gives mixed in a colored paint better. I used the Afterburn mini from Reaper for Dynamo.

My players finally tracked Dr Glisan to his lair last night. I took a look back through my adventure logs and was surprised to find that this particular plot has been running since February! It's been going so well and we have all been having so much fun I never realized how long we had been playing (in comparison to my Pathfinder group that finally finished up after three years but it felt like a decade of slogging through). I will try and get the adventure log recap done in the next couple of days on the obsidian portal site.

One of my players has asked me to write the entire thing up as an adventure and post it on the yahoo group. I have never written an adventure in the manner of the ones that get published but I am thinking of giving it a try. If i do I will need to find an artist willing to do some character drawings for counters I think, not everyone uses mini's like me. I would definitely include the maps I have created in Campaign Cartographer, both small one page copies and the larger ones that can be printed and taped together for a battlemat. Since my Pathfinder and GURPS groups have finished up for the time being I may actually have the time to work on something like this.

Thanks Majestic, I would likely tap you for proofreading anyhow so you would get first read through lol!

Just for fun here are a couple of small maps of Dr. Glisan's underground lair. The first one is accessed by mini sub and the Willamette river in downtown Portland. In the bottom left room there is a hatchway that allows you to descend to the lower level.

In the lower level there are only three rooms, all Dr. Glisan's of course. The tunnels connecting the three rooms are only two and half feet wide. As a head in a jar atop a robotic body that flies this poses no problem for Dr Glisan, most heroes will have to crawl through. Some heroes may find that difficult.
