Backround: Jennifer was born to a fairly well to do family. Unfortunately her birth was a difficult one and resulted in several complications. Due to a lack of oxygen to her brain for a short time some of her motor function skills were effected causing her muscles to atrophy over time.

Her Uncle and Godfather had been working on various projects regarding sound for healing purposes for years and over the course of time began using low level stimulating treatments on Jennifers muscles with some small success. On her sixteenth birthday she had seemed to have enough of waiting. Jennifer had become distant from the other kids over the years due to her differences and could no longer deal with it.

She snuck into her Uncles lab one night and decided to "Crank Up The Volume" on her treatments. The effect was a disaster and a success. She turned the machine to the highest settings and locked herself in the chamber. Somehow the sound waves used in her treatment became a living part of her or set off some dormant gene in her metabolism. The machine itself was destroyed in the process.

She is now able to walk and function normally as well as several other quite unique abilities. This has had somewhat of a negative impact on her personality as before she was an introvert and now she has begun running with "The Wrong Crowd". A complete three sixty. 

Only time will tell now how she may decide to use her abilities.

You using the official rules for solid energy illusions?  I consider that the hardest power to play.   And my "improved" version isn't much better, as you can ask the Spartan.
