Ongoing episodic pick-up V&V....

As the heading says....I am planning on GMing some V&V on P&PG chat (or perhaps Maptools/Skype) and my goal is to have each session be an "episode", just like a Saturday AM cartoon. Does anyone have any suggestions on exactly how I can pull that off in a 4 hour gaming session? I haven't GMed V&V in over 20 years, so there is going to be quite a bit of rust....(the reason I am trying episodes is so if one or more people can't make it to a session the others can still do something)

No more than one battle per session and expect it to take the whole session.

V&V character creation is too much fun.

I try to think of each session as a single comic.  Some stories are multi issues,  some  sessions are  Giant Sized Annuals!

I am scary, very, very scary.
