The Sacred Alliance

Every Moevian child knows of the Sacred Alliance.  Every Moevian school teaches of their exploits.   And now that a handful of Earthlings have traveled to Moev, they must have learned a thing or two about the greatest heroes that the Eternal Empire has to offer.
For over a Thousand Years the three Houses of Moev have gifted the universe with their best metabeings.   These three metas then select from the Moevian Elite,  a handful of the best  to be their teammates.  This is how it is always done, this is how it will always be.  Hala be praised.

Currently the Sacred Alliance consists of these amazing beings.    Starting from the least powerful to the most powerful.  The names are the best they can be translated from the orginal Moevian.

Unerring Archer:   This Moevian holds the distinction of being the only sentient in the history of the Empire to be selected  for the Sacred Alliance without possessing any meta abilities.    He shows an example that one can achieve greatness, even if not touched by Hala.   He is the longest standing member of the team,  and in over two decades, has never missed a target with his netronium bow.

Primal Screamer:   She is the wife of the Unerring Archer.  She has mastered 23 different forms of Moevian combat, and if that wasn’t enough she can summon her inner strength to belt out the Primal Scream.   Her scream has been known to rip the hulls off of warships.

Darkfighter:  A mystery, this Moevian has risen in the ranks of the Guilds and is the top hand to hand combatant in the Empire.  It is said that once he has decided to fight you, you are already beaten.  There is no shame in surrendering to a world’s gravity, so there is no shame in surrendering to the Darkfighter.   Even without meta strengh, this dread being has even the Mighty Moevian in awe.   It is said, he is the one being in the universe to find out the greatest hero of the Empire’s one weakness…

The Alien Mindhunter:  It is said that this creature is the last of his race.  That is good, because if there were any more of these creatures, we would all be in serious trouble.   No one knows what the Mindhunter really looks like, as it can change its shape from friendly to hideous depending on its need.  The only thing that keeps this conquered creature in check is that Darkfighter keeps it on a short leash.   It is odd that it fears only Darkfighter, and not the members of the Triad.

Sub Particle:  Many think that the Sub Particle is just a joke that the Sacred Alliance tell to amuse themselves.  Why?  Because there is no proof of his existence.   He has never been seen, nor photographed.   There is no record of his birth or identity.    The only reason he is considered a part of the team, is that once, in a rare display of vulnerability Darkfighter said that the only team member he truly fears is the Sub Particle.   Just don’t remind Darkfighter he said that, he may, if you are lucky, let you live.

Red Shift: This Moevian’s molecules are constantly moving at the speed of light.  As such, the Doppler effect constantly causes him to appear as a vaguely Moevian shaped red blur.   Even though he is not of the Triad, his power is legendary.

The next three team members are considered Demigods in the Empire.  Once in a great age, a meta is joined with Hala, only to come back from her sacred bosom.    This has happened less then 20 times in the history of the Empire, and this is the first time that three in one lifetime have emerged to grace us with their majesty.    These three, each, are as powerful as the rest of the team combined.  To challenge them is to challenge the will of Hala herself.   In thier houses their word is supreme.  Only the Hierophant, the Emperor, or the Council themselves can dare command them.   They are the Triad.

The Light Artist:  He is the champion of the Guilds.  He can sculpt light into what ever form he chooses.   He is very wise and will only fight if need dictates.   His power is the most versatile.   He can create weapons, creatures or structures from his imagination out of his inner light.  He is the kindest of the Alliance.

Mistress Mystery:  She is the epitome of what women of Moev strive to be.  She is strong, loyal, fertile (she is said to have mothered over 100 children, and none of them are neuters!), she is productive and obedient to the Church.    It is said that she can hear the prayer offered to her, and if Hala wishes it, she can answer them.

The Mighty Moevian:  He is the hero of the Military.  He answers only to the Imperial Hermaphrodite itself.    It is said that if the rest of the Alliance AND the full force of the Empire were to challenge him, he would emerge victorious.  He has never been defeated.  He has shattered worlds.  He has battled an Elder God to a standstill and as such was offered membership into the Universals, a move that no one will call blasphemous out loud.  Nothing can harm him.  Nothing can sway him from his course, nothing save an understanding that he and Darkfighter have.    And it is this understanding that keeps the Mighty Moevian from releasing Darkfighter from service.

The members of the Sacred Alliance do not have to “join with Hala” unless the Triad releases them from service.  Only the Unerring Archer is exempt as he has no meta powers.      Past members of the Sacred Alliance have been Machinewife, Starkiller, and of course, the legendary Captain Empire.

Captain Empire:  Was actually a general when he died, but he prefered the rank of captain.   Over 10,000 years ago there was no one who better exemplified what it meant to be a Moevian Imperial.    While not much stronger than the average Moevian, it was his spirit that led many troops to victory.  He was sometimes blasphemeously called "the god of victories".

If not for him, the Star Patrol may have encroached more into Moevian Space.

His dark matter shield is still hanging in the Moevian Military Acadamy.

Based off past Moevain Military Exploits and Moevian History have there been instances when The Sacred Alliance have entered Moevian wars.

Captain Warlock is attempting to determine what the odds are that some, none or all of The Alliance will be sent to earth in the near furure.

Of course if the Omeganaughts have really been fitted with Nova Engines it is all for naught. The Earth will no longer exist without it's Sun.

Darkfighter and Comet:    Darkfighter is the master planner and fighter.   He is focused and relentless.   As such, he has chosen a few acolytes to act on his behalf for the more "kinder" aspects his duties.    This does not sit well with the Mighty Moevian, but it is still a reality.
It is not known how many Comets there are in the service of the Darkfighter.   They serve as his spies, his proxies, his spokesmen.   It is said that their loyalty to their Shadowy master is akin to the Heirophant to beloved Hala.

Update.

Captain Warlock and Glare came across a few of the "Comets". Prepared is not the word. We couldn't touch them. Scary since they are only the servants of Dark Fighter.

After fighting them once you get ideas later how to take them out but the preparation John put into them was great. I will wait for the newest post from the last adventure to not spoil anything.
