	The Purple Mask wants to wreak unholy vengeance upon your world's most powerful superteam. He's handpicked the prefect adversaries to lay waste to the unsuspecting heroes, all culled from the depths of the V&V universe (i.e. all published V&V books.) Obviously the big hitters like the Devil, Dr. Apocalypse, and Motivator are out, but pretty much anyone else is fair game. Limit it to, say, 10 villains and we're good to go. Who am them?

Dominique-- Gerry is 100% correct. Magnetron is one of the villains in Dawn of DNA. It's possible that you are mistaking the villain he listed with the hero Magentor who appeared in one of the Dragon Magazine ads. 	I'm sticking only to the classic 1980s adventures. These aren't necessarily the most strategic choices, but they are 10 villains I like for different reasons: Most Wanted Vol. 1 Crossfire / Sagittarius as field leader (runner up would be Mocker of the Crushers) Pre-Emptive Strike Soulburner (runner-up psionic would by Psiphon from Most Wanted Vol. 1) V&V revised rulebook Mammoth From the Deeps of Space Lady Seven Crisis at Crusader Citadel Vulture Shrew (not Hauntress) Hornet Stormlord (in part because of his origin and family history) Shocker Dawn of DNA Cockroach (a runner-up would be Ratman of the Destroyers)

Okay, I probably should have included an explanation for some of my choices, so here we go- Sgt. Ramble- he can easily get behind enemy lines and unlock the front door. Zairobs- the diversionary "chaos bomb." Not meant to be a combatant, just there to stir things up if need be. The Floop Bros.- They come as a package, they presumably work well as a team, and they have a member that can nullify magic. Oh, and they don't ask questions. Terra-Rizer- Crowd control. Good for a "divide and conquer" strategy. At least in theory. Hmm... looking over it again, I think they may be under-powered. Maybe too much strategy and not enough POW! What do you guys think? PS- yeah, I think O.U. is the bee's knees

	Okay, here's a quick analysis of your choices so far- Phantasm (4) Annihilator (3) Spyder (3) Parasite (3) Samhain (3) F.I.S.T. (3) Stallion (2) Mammoth (2) Mercury Mercenary (2) Everyone else (1) Interesting tally so far. I'm curious to see how it all adds up after everyone posts their choices. ahem

	Leo - team leader Sir Lemur - telepath Behemoth - brick Ratman - agile fighter Mercury Mercenary - speedster F.I.S.T. - energy projector (tech) Snowblind - energy projector (combat) Teleporter - teleporter Simon Shrew - espionage Lady Armaggedon - cosmic powerhouse - and Leo's one mistake (Booster as an alternate to Lady A if she breaks the 'rules' ) Two rules. Characters should be able to work within a team framework (eliminating a slew of characters) and I wanted characters primarily drawn by Jeff and Bill. Lady A is really a storyline device. So many characters I like that I wanted to include from Annihlator to Zairobs
