As the Gamemaster, its my job to make sure everyone has the clues, information or what have you to follow the game.  However, I can't think of everything.

So  this thread is for you guys to request a  thread for me to make.  Something you are unsure about, or something you just want to know, or clarification on a rule.

Thanks.

Let's clarify regeneration. I know it was brought up in the What If thread. We also talked a ways back about the difference between Regeneration and Healing. The two not necessarily being the same.

And yes I am requesting because I have a Character with the power. Character gets a compound fracture to his leg. Does it just heal properly as he regenerates or does it regenerate but if it is not set will he lose Agility points. Something like that for clarification.

Solid Illusions. When I first read the House Rules on it I thought it was more powerful than the original. As I read it again it seems less powerful and take a lot more power since you use Power Points instead of creation points. Craetion points came back automatically it seemed. Was it adjusted because the power seemed too powerful????

Transmutation. I am wondering how much more needs to be added from the rules.

House Rules go into how damage effects the character in the case of Transmuto.

What about non living things and effect on Structural Points. Base it off a damage roll?? Transmuto want to turn a wood floor to water since the mob of baddies is standing on the third floor. He wants them to fall through. How much of an area did he cover and transmute?? Based off the range all of it would be no problem but I am thinking it should be based off something else.

What gets transformed depends on the matter and its structural rating.   To transform wood to steel is harder than say, wood to cotten.

That is all I will say about that right now.

Not sure where to put this, but there should be some consideration about tweaking Karma.  I know we've talked about it in the past and I had some ideas of how to limit it (can't think of them right now), but should think about limiting it a bit.  Easy fix would be one total karma roll allowed per turn or something.

We got off easy last night.

The only time I thought it was abused was limiting the nuclear explosion.  That should have been my role, and therefor unkarma-able.   Hindsight is 20/20.

You can multiple attack as much as you want,  but if you roll a twenty, you must stop and that attack is a botch.

Its free the first attack, 2 the second, 3 power the third,  4 power the fourth and so on.

I don't ask you to declare exactly how many attacks you are making, but a ballpark would be nice.

And once you start rolling damage, you are done makeing attacks.

My son was just telling me about a superhero character on "South Park" called Hindsight Man.  Apparently his only ability was that he was able to show up at a scene and tell people what they should have done differently.  So he would arrive at a burning building, only to briefly point out how there should have been fire escapes (all while people are roasting to death right in front of him)!   Grin

I guess the whole poing of rolling percentage dice vs d20 is that its supposed to be harder.

So you asked for it, you got it.

Karma is 100 exp per point, no matter what die its on.

You rolled a 10 and you need a 15 on a die twenty, its 500 ex.

You rolled a 10 and you need a 40, then its 3000 experience.

Can you can only karma something that you do, like a punch, or a save, you can't influence anything outside of your personal character's control.  I should never have allowed Stormdance to Karma that nuclear reaction.   He has no control over the nuclear reaction, as such, he shouldn't have had any influence over it.  Also, it was  the result of a collatral damage and should not have been karmable anyway.   Bad call on my part.

You should all have been dead.

Geez. I guess I should never have brought it up.

We asked for it and it is fair actually. The question really was is there a difference between percent based rolls and a D100. Yeah I know, same dice.

I was hoping to keep the 5% rule on things that were real percentage based like the detect rolls but I'll just have to train in detection skills.

Omega would likely have died but secretly Captain Warlock was watching the whole thing and waiting to see if he could help but I'm not saying help who.

So for now on, Karma is 100 per point, whether that die is d4 or d100.

I can't wait until you all die.

That would be good since when you were not focusing your attention on him he escaped your fouls CHESS clutches. Who knows. Maybe he will save the Earth anyway.

Requesting info on rolling with damage, as I couldn't seem to find that in the core book, or in my print out of your house rules.
