Making the move to the V&V Forum

OK gents, I'm still waiting to hear back from two people, but the general consensus is that everyone is on board with making the move hear, so unless I hear a serious objection, I'll start posting here on Wednesday.

I'm going to be switching some topics around to make it easier for me to manage, so if things in this area look a little funky for the next day or so, that's why. The first thing you guys need to worry about responding to will be a topic that reads "When we last left our heroes", so until then, post all relevant questions here.

Uhm... Hammer posted his character in the new character thread.  Was that by request Dom?  Should I post the PDF of Thunderbolt or have you had a chance to look at the version I sent you?

Also, I've looked over his Weaknesses.. and the versions you have in my opinion do not have the m defined as to their game effect I was looking for.  His Lack of self control is as the rules as listed but his other need some further definition.

I  modified them on his sheet to this...

Weakness:  Vulnerability (Water) = Takes damage from own lightning if using his lightning control when wet;
Low-Self ControlSecret Weakness  =  Vulnerability (Magnetic Attack - Shawn is considered metallic object of his weight)

I hope you agree this better defines what I had in mind.  I'll e-mail you the updated PDF of his sheet.

Low Self Control couldn't stay a secret very long could it?

How does that magnetic thing work?

Meaning... magnetic control only affects ferrous objects... so no paper, wood, stone, flesh, plastic...etc.  Without any metal around even the smallest bit... Magnetic control is useless {See Magneto in his plastic cell in X-Men 2}.  But Thunderbolt counts as a ferrous object even though composed of flesh.

So all sorts of nasty things could be done to him with opposing magnetic control, Especially if done without him being prepared to try to counter with his own magnetic control.  He could be flung around, used as a blunt weapon, paralyzed or directly hurt... pulled apart {ouch!}  His magnetic vulnerability is the only weakness that is unknown to him.

Okay gents I'm running a little behind on the character sheets, but I don't want to hold you guys up. I'll be posting the opening in a bit.

Sorry if I posted out of line... I saw Dom's comment that PC's new sheet was up, and when I looked at the old posting, I saw it had been updated with the new format.  I only moved it to keep all of them in the same spot on the board.

It can be removed or changed as needed, sorry if I overstepped my bounds.
