New Villain - Kestrel

I whipped this up this morning. Kestrel is a villain I've had since the late 90's. I finally broke down and commissioned some artwork for him, and several other of my characters. The illustration was done by Joe Singleton.

That is a master villain. Alert, mobile, durable, and deadly. Only thing he seems to be missing is a cadre of lackeys and a super-aerie, or does he? Heroes pursue at your own peril.  Wink

Yeah, I got motivated last night, and finally put together a decent looking sheet for him. I'm working on a couple of others right now.

Just by name, reminds me of a hero I played many years back called Osprey.  Visually speaking, a bit more anthropomorphic (birdlike) crossed with the old Hawk & Dove look.  It was a Legion of the Superheroes kind of game, so an interstellar avian race that lived in vacuum in asteroid belts worked.

(how else do you explain Bird powers - including wings and heightened senses, Telepathy, life support, Absorption, and a weakness of mute).  His powers were all racial based except the absorption, which was caused by the stellar radiation exposure.
