Well I live in Indiana/ Indianapolis... I'm going to Who's Yer Con this weekend... I really wish someone was running a V&V adventure so I could play Thunderbolt... just once in a sitdown game!  Ah well! Smiley

Maybe I'll see some of you there... I'll be the goofy, big black guy... whose too loud and wearing a Pathfinder - "Year of the Ruby Phoenix" black t-shirt! Smiley

Ahh... Indy. I do miss Indy once in a while. A place so flat that on a clear day you can see the back of your own head.

Really good people up there though. I used to frequent an excellent little game store called Game Times. They were at the mall in Greenwood for a couple of years, then they moved to another store on 31 and Smith Valley (Next to Roscoe's Tacos).

Wish I had the time and money to zip up there for Who's Yer Con, maybe bump into some old friends.

Er... didn't think anyone was interested in it...lol.  I didn't take any pictures {though I could have ...I still don't know how to transfer pics from my phone to the computer...}

It was a fairly small con.  I'd say perhaps a total attendance of 150 to 200, approx~

I played mostly Pathfinder and a single Sparks STAR WARS game.  Mostly it was just fun to meet some of the players I've played with in the past as Pathfinder Organized Play Games.  I wanted to play in the ROBOTECH Southern Cross game...but it kept being cancelled. Sad

Who's Yer Con is growing each year and this time was the biggest yet... I may have underestimated the attendance!  The hotel where it was held was sold out of rooms...from all the visiting out of state attendees.  So it may have been as large as 300+ in attendance.

The Con administrators were getting reasonably certain that at some near point future our current venue will be too small. lol!

The costume masquerade had like 30 entries... and my little sister won one of the trophies for her costume... sorry again no pics... lol!   There was a really sexy "Black Cat" Cosplay girl there...lol {not my sister.. she was doing a anime' Battle Nurse costume I think..'snort'}!

Sorry I can't tell much more about the seminars and what not.. I was there for the gaming and so didn't see much of that {I also didn't think I'd be reporting on it either...}

All in all I had a Great Time! Smiley

Already part of the Con... there is a open Battletech table going all three days, all day long during the Con... including various other miniatures games... even some Warhammer 40k and Starfleet Battles.
