The peace was broken by a trebuchet.  Shit.   The orcs were firing shit!

You could hear the grunts of the orcs, their burping, and their laughing.  They were filling buckets with diseased shit and loading them into the siege weapons.   Given time, this would defeat Tash by plague.

Winston knew, as new captain of the guard, he had to act.  He took his troll stone shield, Hubert, and his Dwarven Throwing hammer and climbed up the walls.  He ran and threw his hammer at the war machines.   Heeding their commander, the regulars of the City Watch fired crossbows into the Orc swarm.

Brack and Joe also climbed the walls.  Brack requested stones, heavy stones.  Runners carried rocks to the mighty barbarian.  He threw the rocks like cannon balls smashing trebuchets.   Joe assisted, with smaller, but also well thrown stones.
Van Guyer cast fireballs into the hoard.

The group dodged arrows and stones as orcs boiled more nodoil and whipped themselves into frenzies.    A few crazed monsters tried to scale the wall and were stabbed down by city regulars.

Luna, priestess of Selanae, prayed and healed.  Joe and Brack were nearly killed by Orcish arrows, if not for the merciful light of the moon.

The city was in a panic.   People tried to flee by tunnels, some killed their families and then themselves in their homes.

Others sharpened 50 year old swords and prepared for the worst.

The worst was about to happen.

One of the trebuchets fired an Umber Hulk into the city.   The giant insect creature smashed and rampaged.   The heroes tried to contain its fury.   Thorn was mesmerized by its prismatic eyes and swung his sword into empty air.   Brack lifted it up and pounded it on the ground.  A feat which impressed his Halfling Henchmen.   Winston smashed it repeatedly with his hammer.

A bean was tossed by Van Huger.  The magic bean opened a tunnel at a 45 degree slant under the Umber Hulk’s feat.  It and Brack fell into the hot, sulfurous hole.

Meanwhile Drack the Elven Archer mounted his Gryphon and flew over the hoard.   He fired arrows at some of the siege engines but soon saw arrows did no good against wooden machines.  He then followed the sound of orcish women singing.  He knew this was not something good.  Orc women, when not used for breeding or for food have to be strong magic users in their horrid world.

He found a tent.   The tent was made of flayed human flesh.    Drack landed a distance away and snuck to the tent.  He fired arrow after arrow at the head of the three chanting orc woman.  All three were dead before they hit the ground.  He then took their wand, three rings, a necklace and a magic rod.

Drack mounted his gryphon and flew off.    He stayed high above the range of Orc arrows.  He saw in the distance an army coming.  He flew to Tash to tell his comrades that help was on the way.

Brack and the Umber Hulk were wrestling at the bottom of the tunnel.   At the end were two iron doors chained from the outside.   The doors were hot.  So hot their seared Brack’s flesh.

Brack rolled the Umber Hulk onto the door, letting it burn its carapace.  Winston threw his hammer to assist Brack.     Van Huger tossed another bean at the giant creature but all it die was cause the mage to contract a disease.

Luna healed Van Huger and Brack and Winston knocked the creature out.  They let it roast on the iron doors.

Everyone assembled and ran to the southern wall.  It was breached.    There was all out fighting in the streets.    Man vs orc.  City guard was out classed.   The orcs were having fun chasing, fighting and destroying.
Thorn ran to the Keep.  He found the Baron hiding.  He asked for his 1000 gold crowns reward.  The Baron gave him his ring of office and tried to flee.

Thorn looted, taking told, silver ware, and some nice silk underwear.   When he heard that Prince Soreil’s army had routed the orcs and was on his way to speak with the Baron found the former Baron and reinstalled his office.

Soreil met with the Baron behind closed doors while the Fae Army chased the orcs from Tash.

Forty days have passed since the Orc Hoard was repelled by Prince Soreil’s troops.  He has forced the Baron to swear fealty to him directy instead of the King of the North.  This is in a violation with the Accords of Rule as established by Singe the Clever in the Year of the Yellow Mouse.  How the King   will take this affront to his rule will be seen.

Tash is beset by plague.   The orc filth has been piled and burned but a good portion of the people have succumbed.   And unnoticed by many, but not Brac, many Halflings are missing.

Van Huger assumed the place of the former court magician Dimault.   He set up the lab and began working on formula for his own spells.   One night, he was attacked by a burned, but powerful looking Dimault.   Van Huger responded by throwing a bean in the evil wizard’s mouth.    Dimault sprouted limbs, leaves and bark.

Dimault the Dunce was gone.  Long live Dimault the deciduous.

Winston reorganized the City Watch putting Joe as quartermaster.  Brack took a leave to train his Halfling Henchmen.  Luna was busy with her sisters of Selanae, along with the brothers of Megaster, in healing the sick.   The priests of Krydhal were the busiest of all…

In the Opal City of Berryl, Ryiah the young elf mage was sent on a jet black Hurar, all the way to Tash.    The Gray Elves had learned that fleeing Orcs have disturbed the lair of a chaos dragon.  The awakened beast would be ravenous and nothing would be safe.    Now true, elves have no love for the filthy humans, but a nomadic herd of chaos afflicted humans would spread their germs all over Arcadia.  The humans had to be warned.

Ryiah was given a wand and a kettle.   She was warned about the ways of humans.  She would cover her mouth and nose with linens.

She was met at the city was by Joe, Winston and Drac.   Drac confirmed Ryiah’s story about the Chaos Dragon.    Drac came back from his forest to warn his reluctant allies about the dangers of Chaos affliction.  As a Harper, it’s his sword duty to stop Arcadia from succumbing to chaos.

Ryiah ordered everyone to meet in the morning.  She had heard tales of the Loaf and Onion and the famous Onion bread and Dwarven ales even as far away as her hometown.   It was true.   Even though the tavern was empty, she enjoyed her meal.

Alas, Dwarven ales are made for hearty constitution then the slender Elf Maiden.   She passed out.  Thorn was content to let her lay in her own sick, if not for some opportunists.  He leapt from the shadows and beat them off.   One tried to kick the downed elf, another steal her wand.  Thorn took Ryiah to his apartment and let her sleep it off.    He even prepared a lovely mushroom breakfast as he thought the lovely elf would like.

The group met at the gate.  They saddled horses.  Winston marveled at the beauty of the jet black Hurar.  He had heard tales of the majestic elven horse, and hoped to see one.

They followed the main rode south and west.  Once they crossed the river, they would be in the Land of Fae, governed directly by Titania and Oberon.   Since they were now technically under the rule of Prince Soreil, this should not be a violation of the Accords.

They found their first waystation.  Thorn left a coin to the humble priests and they pressed on.    Drac spotted something in the Wheatfield.   The wheat was odd.  First it was winter, second, it seemed off…

Thorn when to investigate.  He saw a lone farmer smiling.    He turned to face Thorn and his smile wrapped around his head and his skin fell off.   His insides erupted into tendrils and lashed out.

He stabbed at the chaos afflicted farmer.   Joe ran up and impaled two spears in the things body.   Drac, as accurate as the winter is cold, hit the beast time and time again.

Ryiah cast a fireball with such grace and elegance it dodge Winston, and Thorn and burned the creature.
Van Huger cast his new spell and pushed the thing to its side.

Ryiah then tried to cast a web, but miscast, and coated herself in her own spell.   Luna had to cut her free.
The things tendrils whipped and slapped the party.   Winston’s hammer, Thorn’s sword, and Joe’s spears finally did it in.
They burnt the body, along with the afflicted wheat.

They continued on the road until they found six crying children.    Thorn’s weakness is children and he and Luna offered them protection.  They brought them back to the waystation and offered more coins to the priest, who they didn’t seem to find attending the shrine.

Drac spotted three adults calling for the kids.   They were…odd.

One was rubbery, one was hard like stone.  The other covered in acidic mucous.

Arrows didn’t seem to hurt them.   Fire, and hammers, well they smashed the flint being good.   And the acidic being was burnt by fire.  Van Huger tossed another bean which caused an earthquake.

A narrow mountain grew, and on top was a castle.  Van Huger, being Van Huger, climbed to the top.  He saw painted on the door was a silver double sided axe.    He wondered if this could be the lost castle of the Labyrandos, the legendary Silver Axe of Tor.

HE knocked on the door was greeted by a warm, friendly face.  A seven foot tall hulk of man with a large red beard, ring mail armor and loud friendly voice invited him in.

He offered everyone food and drink, and rest.  HE said no one would be harmed here.  Luna confirmed he was not evil and let the children enter.  Everyone ate.  The food healed all wounds and restored all vim and vigor.

ALL but the elves entered the castle.

He announced himself as Landro Lach Lass and it was his glorious duty to greet all supplicants and honor their them with glorious combat.  And if they be worthy they could have the axe.  It was then that everyone noticed a huge double sided silver glowing axe.   Drac asked if it could harm a chaos dragon.   Landro replied, “There is naught this axe cannot cleave.”

Van Huger filled Landro’s cup with his vial of Yondalla’s Tears.   Landro saw that the wizard put poison in his cup and kicked the wizard toward the door.

Luna than slashed the giant with her rapier.  Landro laughed and hit Winston who was charging at him.
Thorn slammed him with his shield and then stabbed him.  Van Huger cast a fireball and Landro caught it and extinguished it.  Ryiah tried to make him sleep but he was too resilient.

Landro punched and laughed at Joe who was knocked unconscious.  Luna went to revive her friend.  Van Huger cast a spell of protection on himself and dodged the giant’s blows.

Drack hit Landro with some arrows.  And Ryiah cast a web but the large man proved too nimble.

Winston tried to seize the axe and did not die.

Van Huger levitated the demi god up but he then flew at the wizard.   Again Van Huger’s spell protected him and the guardian of the Keep crashed into the wall and out. Van Huger fired a fireball at him but he proved immune to fire.

He flew in and all at once, at Joe’s command, everyone attacked.   Drac;s arrows,  Joe’s axe,  Thorn’s sword,  Winston’s hammer, Van Hugur’s fozare, and Luna’s foil, at hit at once.

A gaping wound was opened in his throat and chest.  He struck out at Joe but Van Huger pushed him out of the way and used his magic shield to protect them.

Landro seemed gone.

Thorn tried to grab the axe and did not die.

Drac spotted the Demigod flying back.   Again, everyone concentrated their attack.   Van Hugur’s spell, Riah’s blast, Drack’s arrows, Joe’s axe, Winston’s hammer, and Thorn’s sword all but vaporized the man.

When the blood stopped spraying on everyone, Joe took the axe off the wall.

A voice in her head told her, “My glorious duty is over.  For now you hold the axe.  You have been warned.”

The mountain then began to crumble.  They all made it down.   Two horses had to be put down. The children were safe, and the party tried to sort things out.

In the distance they could see a purple and yellow storm with odd shaped clouds.  The Chaos Dragon was on the move.

Brak came back into Tash with his Halfling henchmen.   He was alerted to the party’s departure by the Lieutenant of the City Watch.  He was told about a lone Gray Elf sent to alert Tash about the movements of the Chaos Dragon.
Brak looked out over the wall to see a lone mountain, one that was not there hours ago.  He whispered, “Beans…” under his voice.

In under six hours, the barbarian and the tiny hoard found their friends resting.  They were covered in blood.  Joe had a mithril axe!

They ate, Luna healed.

Brak wondered what they were to do with the children that Thorn had taken under his custody.  But that is for another day.

They were set upon by goblins.  Tiny wooden arrows were flung from tiny wooden bows.  Goblins are small, weak and cowardly.   However they never attack one on one.  If one is found to be in a confrontation of goblins not of their own choosing one thing can be known for sure, you are outnumbered.  By a lot!

The goblins used the tall weeds as cover.   Only a few could be spotted at a time.   Joe hurled lighting with his axe.  It curved and hit Van Huger’s copper bottle.    The bottle was re charged.

Winston flung his axe, while Thorn protected this wards.  Drac pinned goblins to cold earth one by one.  Van Huger lite the scrub on fire with fireballs, While Ryiah webbed herself.  Again.

The goblins proved more troublesome than dangerous.    It was Thorn who spotted their master, a large Hobgoblin astride a Dire Wolf.   They pinned Thorn down, and the wolf pulled at Thorn’s sword arm.  Brak smashed the Wolf over with rocks, while Winston knocked the rider over with his dwarven hammer.
Drac perforated the Hobgoblin’s head with three well placed arrows.

Luna healed the wolf.  The wolf’s limbs were shattered, along with a few of its ribs.   Once healed, it got up, looked at her with its red eyes and spoke, “Next time we meet, I will not kill you.”   And it ran.

Arrows and bows were taken for the Halflings, while Drac found a rusty iron ring in the still awake Hobgoblin’s nose.     The monster died seconds after the ring was taken…

The area was searched for the fleeing goblins.    It was deemed safe.  The horses were hobbled and they decided to camp.   It was late into the night.

Drac was on last watch and saw a group of religious zealots singing and dancing to horrible frenetic music on the road.  They hid in the scrub and observed.
Luna saw that their red and gold robes had the eight pointed star of Chaos.   As soon as the priestess spoke these words, Drac fired at the pilgrims.

They laughed as the arrows hit.   Joe Thunder ran with his axe and hit one to the ground.  Ryiah tossed lighting, and Van Huger blasted with occult force.
Van Huger went to grab a wand from one of the felled chaos priests.   As he did one maniac cleric whispered, “Die.” Into his ear.   Another said, “Impale.”   Van Huger’s heart palpated.   He also resisted stabbing himself with his new wand.

One of the insane priests laughed, “Twist” at Joe.   Joe then began to twist around, cracking his own spine.

The rest of the party went without hesitation to dispatch the priests into the arms of their insane Chaos Lords.    The last priest, without any visible deformities smiled and said, “Blood and souls for my lord Arioch…”  He was killed before he could finish his invocation.

The group searched the bodies.  They found a red ring, leather boots, three scrolls, and three potions.   The booty was divided up and they burnt the afflicted bodies.

The purple storms clouds were closer.

The horses were frightened but they marched on.

Hours later a small lone girl, crying, was asking if anyone saw her ball.   She was carrying a red ball.  The party was confused but on alert.

Luna, in her infinite mercy, went to check the girl.  The girl looked up and her eyes opened. They were not eyes under the lids, but tiny mouths with small teeth.  They hissed.  The girl transformed into a horrid, white, pink and purplish dragon shaped abomination.    The flesh was hard to look at, and made one sick to their stomach to behold.   The flesh was in constant motion, and writhed with unnatural movements.

Van Huger made a magic circle in the ground, and Ryiah created a chaos ward.   Joe ran with his axe, while Brac, who found out his boots were Dragon Wing Boots, flew with his Spear of Wounding.

Winston stepped out of the circle to throw his hammer.  Drac fired arrows, Thorn crept to the Dragon’s rear.

The dragon roared and breathed a cloud of noxious fumes.  It changed Joe.   His face sprouted four new eyes, multi-faceted.  His jaw extended.  He attacked his friends.  He was now chaos afflicted!

The battle raged.   The dragon was getting wounds, but the wounds seemed to shift and move about.   Brac was rendered simple minded by the Dragon.

Tired, the dragon took to the sky.   It grabbed Potato, Ryian’s elven steed and Butterscotch, Joe’s horse and flew off.

Drac took to the sky on his Gryphon.  He grabbed Winston and Van Huger and dropped them on the dragons back.

Winston stabbed with Joe’s axe while Van Huger planted a bean in an open wound.  Horrid gas shot out of every hole in the beast.   Van Huger planted another bean.  A silver ladder sprouted up into the sky AND down to the earth.   The dragon was torn in half and fell in pieces to the ground.
Winston and Van Huger climbed down.  The ladder was stable.

The party noticed that the dragon’s blood balled up and bounced at it hit the ground.   And it was the only remains that could be found of the giant creature.

With the threat of the Orc's over, and the Dragon slain,  Tash was once again safe.

True their was a horrible doorway to the Neitherworld, but the chains held.  All it did was attract those of questionable religious choices to pray during the new moon when the sulfur was especially rank.

The silver ladder proved to be a problem as intrepid young adventures took to climbing it to prove their love to some young maiden, or for fame and glory.  Most fell to earth and burst  like melons, others never returned.  So far, the ladder proves a mystery.

The Mushroom Top  was sold to a seedy human who people suspect to harbor orcish blood.  Still his onionloaf, while not as good as it was before the during the Peace of Brieses,  is still good so a few warts on a nose can be overlooked.

The Baron still enjoy's his rule and thanks the Party for their help, he consults more and more with his Fae advisors more than his human friend's.    Money and peace will forgive a lot, so no one questions his choices..too much.

Dimault sprouts leaves every spring, opens his eyes and says " I will kill you someday."  To Van Huger.  This takes him most of the spring to say, and when the noise stops, the apples are ripe and pie is made.

Luna quested to learn the spell of Restoration.  She healed Brac, who was living with his Halfling henchmen in a small thatch house out side of the city.  His tiny friends took good care of him until his mind was restored.

Joe was imprisoned in the dungeon and spat poison at anyone who got near him.  He fed on rats and food pushed in a bucket by long poles by the guards.    He too, was finally healed by Luna.

Ryiah returned to Berryl, and Drac to his woods.

Winston fixed his family's smithy and split his time between Shalebend and Tash.

Thorn, spend the better part of two years visting Rose, and rasiing money for the Tunts, who formally adopted the five orphans Thorn was watching.  "Farming is the noblest of proffesions."  he told them.

Thorn retired, well He mostly retired. He sold his home in Tash and used the profits to expand The Scaven Street Orphanage as well as the Tunt Farm. He would return to Tash every three months to check on the Orphans as well as visit the underground. He was often tempted to sell the Unicorn Horn but never did. Thorn wondered why he never asked Van Huger to test it for magical residue. Maybe someday he would. Van Huger was charged with tithing ten percent of his earnings to The Scaven Street Orphans and as Royal Wizard his earnings would increase so Thorn worried less about them. On each of his trips back and forth between the farm and Tash Thorn would take one of the Orphans so they could get a taste of life outside of Tash. Also so he had another set of hands to work the new acreage and maintain The Wall.

He expanded the Farmlands  and surrounded the House  with a Stone Wall as well as Wooden Gate. There were no Unicorns prancing around protecting his new home and The Gods help those who help themselves. He learned to be a Farmer and taught the Children as much as he could. Thorn had many skills he had never shared and the memories of how he learned them from a cruel Master began to fade.

He grew to love all the Children and being as they were all from previous Farms themselves they settled in. Time heals all wounds and many hands make less work. Thorn was becoming domesticated and  He was quite satisfied with that. There was more than enough money and the Farm could keep them all fed and protected. The fourth Winter was difficult but there were enough provisions from the previous three to keep them with full bellies.

The Twins Rodrik and Fredrik were seventeen now and Men in their own right. Those two took to the Sword and Axe and both were now stronger than Thorn. Then there was Shane. Fifteen now and He took more to Bow and daggers. He worried Thorn. Not in a dangerous way but Thorn worried more that he would someday take a different Path than that of a Farmer.

The three Girls, Loren, Rae and Tula were wonderful. Hard working and smart. Fourteen, twelve and ten years of age respectively. Thorn was proud of them all though he kept a watchful eye on Loren as she grew older. Young Pae Organ from the neighboring Farm had come calling recently. There would be none of that.

In time Thorn grew to Love Danae but they never wed. Something always kept Thorn from this final commitment and it bothered Him. She kept the Children in line and Gods could that Woman cook!

Ah, but then there was Rose. The very reason for Thorns existence. She was the Light of His Life and He dotted on Her to no end.  Pale skin and shocking Red Hair, Rose took after Her Mother and for this Thorn was Thankful. She would grow to be special, he had no doubts about this.

On a Spring night they were all celebrating Roses sixth Birthday when Winston showed up. One look at Winstons face and Thorn knew.

"Winston my Friend. You may stay one night and Celebrate with us but come morning I want you gone. I don't care what it is you want but I am not going back. I will never go back"

(Subject to heavy editing / complete re-write once I know what everyone else has done. Only proofread for spelling)

Winston sat in his office staring at the scrolls and parchments needing his signet.  The day has barely begun and he couldn't distinguish one document from another anymore.  Disgusted by all the administrative duties, the commander of Tash's militia walked away from the desk and over to a window.  "The Baron has been the Faes’ puppet since the Orc invasion.  He’s neglecting stewardship of the people.  It’s been months since he’s held court.  Even the human advisors no longer attempt to persuade him, coming to my door instead." he complained to himself.  "Five, no… six years ago I was a simple blacksmith; shoeing horses, sharpening sickles and knives, and occasionally repairing armor.  Now I spend my time in a tower putting ring to wax."  Winston peers around the fields below.  "Tash is my home now, and its people needs to be protected.  Speaking of which..." He sighed heavily as he spotted the line in the distance that divides the sky.  "There's no way to survive going up the ladder.  Where did they disappear too?"  Whenever the 'Ladder to Heaven' came to mind so did its opposite.  Winston walks over to get a better vantage of where the 'Hole to Hell' lays.  "Still not enough information about what's down there.  Crown of Horns, Cloven Scepter, Serpent Ring."

Loud screaming shook him out of his thoughts.  A large figure streaked by his eyes then was out of sight.  Another sigh, but one of relief.  Brak the Barbarian, or Dragoon, or whatever title Brak chooses yet again, flies around with spear in hand.  “Fire!” roared out the command.  A massive boulder was flung from a trebuchet.  In mere moments it was harpooned out of the sky by the large airborne man.  Debris from the impact rained down damaging a nearby building.  “He’s keeping the ‘Tinkers’ busy.”  It's been 2 years since Priestess Luna cured Brak and Joe of their conditions following the defeat of the Chaos Dragon.  Glad to have those 2 returned to normal, he did worry about the rest of the 'Heros of Chaos'; another name he overheard in the barracks.  The only other member he had seen recently was Ryiah during her last visit as emissary.

Horns blew as he reminisced about his time adventuring.  "A Hero returns!" came from the city walls.  Winston hurried towards the direction of the horns.  "Who? What color?" he clamored to himself.  Peering out at the main gate he sees the welcome brazier lit and a white banner flowing in the wind.  "Luna!"  His excitement faded to worry.  "She must have been traveling all night to arrive at this hour.  This is no simple visit.”  He focused his thoughts on the magical ring that is sister to one the priestess wears.  “Luna, is all right?”

Luna’s words caused a major stir of action.  Everyone that she and Winston thought needed to be informed was summoned.  Even the Baron came to court when he heard of what the priestess had learned.  The meeting ended some time pass noon.  They all hurried to do what needed to be done.  Winston ordered to have his horse readied.  “Will you be gone long Sir?  Will you need provisions?” asked the guard.  “I will return tonight, latest tomorrow.  A day of food for me, 2 for the horse.  With any luck I will need it.”  The guard hurried off to the stable, muttering “1 day, 2 for the horse” all along the way.  Winston marched after him for a while then veered off to the market area of the city.  He knew that this venture didn’t need warriors or mages or priests; it needed heroes.  Heroes strong enough to defeat both demigod and dragon.  There is such a person several hours hard ride from Tash.  But to convince him to return he’d need to bring a gift.  Something to remind the former hero of what he’d be fighting for.  Winston walked into the toymaker’s store looking for that gift, a toy suitable for a little girl.  “Five, no… six years old.”

No one is sure exactly what happened.   Just all agree it was caused by greed.

The Bean Mage had summoned a silver ladder to the moon.   Or something like it...

A ball of pure Mithryl, floated in the sky.  It was alive, and wicked.  It cursed the ground as it fell.  For weeks it moaned as it lay, cracked, on the parched ground.

Then they came.

The Storm Brothers.

The Storm Brothers claimed The remains of the Mithryl False Moon.  They were slain by the Bean Mage.   The Mithryl Moon was shattered by the raging winds of battle.

The people of Tash realized that this was not good.  Many parties became interested in the remains of the False Moon.  Elves,  Fae, Cloaked Strangers from other lands all made claims.  But the first to arrive were the orcs.

The siege lasted weeks.  And as per usual, the first weapon was disease.   Tash was surrounded.

Our party of adventurers made a valiant effort defending the walls.  They burnt down the orcs siege engines, and fought them to a hold, but  Tash was falling due to fevers and coughs.

Luna cast a healing rain, to cleanse the city.  A battle of pure rain and filthy air was raging.  Mogrin, the orcish general, tired of this standstill and ordered an assault.

The gates fell and the orcs raided.  The party was pushed back into the sanctuary of the Temple of Selunae.  All was about to be lost.

Soriel arrived  and pushed the orcs back.  He rode with  host of noble fae. Orcs were chased and slaughtered in the streets.  Those that failed to flee were burned.

Soriel bowed and claimed himself the sole champion of Tash.  When he was told of the Party and their deeds, he scowled.

He marched to the Temple, still besieged by lingering orcs.  He surrounded the remaining orcs and slaughtered them all, to the last.

He then did the unthinkable.  He set fire to the temple and barred the doors and windows.

Soreil's loyal troops slayed any and all priests and priestess if they tried to escape.  All inside died.

Soriel then claimed lordship over Tash, in direct violation of the Accords.   He demanded  the blood tithe from all the people of the city.

The Elves of Berryl and the Baron's  men all protested.    No word from The Emperor or Empress.

The Dark Times are returning.  All the heroes are gone.

Alas, the northern woods have been beset by a plague.   People whisper that Drac, the Elf, brough the contagion he contracted when he infiltrated the Orc camp to his home.

The intelligent among us will not travel to this infect wood.  Those that have say that many a rotted elf lay unburied.  No one will dare to confirm if what they say is true.
