Cuz the codename Thermite is a play on words (Thermal + Termite), like Santa Claws is a play on words. Cuz Thermite's first name is Rudolf and he flies and glows with Flame Powers. Cuz Thermite's last name Wick also reads like a tongue-and-cheek reference to his Flame powers. I was trying to deliver you a compliment. I thought Thermite was intended to be a humorous character.
