I've decided to run a Newspaper to get information to my players.  It certainly won't be daily, but will be a new issue with each game (my hope). 

It will consist of a front page and then an inside page or back page, where smaller stories can be found.  Some of the smaller stories will tie in with adventures, some will not.  It will also let me hear what they are interested in.

The last two pages of this issue introduce the Astonishing Six, an LA based hero group.  Our group will be in San Francisco.  (I couldn't include them here because of upload limitations.)

It's free.  You can have them print the newspaper for you (which costs $) or just save it as a PDF. 

I love it and my players thought it was cool.  They can't wait to see their names and exploits in the pages.

I tried this a few years ago.   I gave up due to program i used beiing really crappy. Maybe i will try again.

Thanks.  The dog wrap deal and marijuana stories were actual news item I found. 
The gator and morgue robbery stories are possible adventure seeds.  The gasoline theft and jewelry heists are going to figure into their second and third adventures.  (If all goes as planned.  They'll probably decide to hunt down gators instead...)
