Four teenagers have run into traffic and were killed in Boone, Iowa.  A fifth, was shot and killed by police after the police tried to stop the teenage from running off a bridge.  The teenager put six police officers in the hospital before she was fatally shot and killed.  It took 12 rounds to the chest to put her down.

All five teenagers were playing an old battered copy of a Ouija board before this incident occurred.   

In retrospect there is a possibility that all those stories from our dark past were really simply based off early Metas. It is quite possible that things considered to be Magic were actually the use of un explained Meta Powers.

Gods and Demons could quite simply have been the earliest Metas.

After using your willpower you are pretty darn sure that you are missing exactly 12 hours of memory.

Breakfast in the hotel.

Special Agent Patricia Dane couldn't take it anymore. She had to know.

Ever since that case in Boone, Iowa, she had been troubled.  She had no clear memory of the past month.  What she did remember, she wished she didn't.

She believed she was sent to hell and demons took her body.   She talked to psychologists, she talked to priests and nothing helped.

She felt that she and Will Powers did terrible things while possessed.  Only Will doesn't share these feelings.  He just doesn't remember 12 hours.  Patty doesn't remember four weeks!

She hired Private Investigator Liam "Skip" Tracer to find out exactly what happened.


  Skip was gone for three days and returned and filed this report.


I confirmed with local police and multiple eye witness that the events of that day are exactly as Agent Will Powers described. 

Five teenagers overdosed on a powerful drug and ran amoke.   While investigating, Will Powers and Patty Dane became exposed to the same drug while  going over evidence in  the Boone Police Station.  Both collapsed and were rushed to the local hospital.   I have obtained written letters from the attending doctors, as well as dated documents.   Patty suffered from lingering hallucinations, while Will only suffered a loss of memory.



This report put Patty Dane at ease.    Will  Powers was a bit shocked that the drug would cause memory loss, but he was glad that to know the truth.


He had more pressing concerns, such as planning Patty's baby shower.   Its only eight  months away and Will doesn't like to wait to the last minute.



Skip was thinking he had better charge more for his cases.   And the added cost of replacing his lost revolver was insult to injury.    If only he could remember how he lost it...
