	For some reason when I search for the forum, it's not showing up in search engines. Anyone have a clue as to why?

	When you say "search engines" do you mean ones outside the norm? the norm being google and Bing?

	Actually I just ran some tests and I see what you mean. I called goDaddy and it seems because we don't have SSL installed on the server, the search engines downgrade us because they don't deem the site "secure". I tested this using Chrome and it's confirmed, since it says "not secure" next to the address bar. So the bad news, the SSL addition costs $150 for the three year domain term. Not something I can lay out right now so it's really up to John on how he wants to proceed here. John, let me know. (keep in mind, adding SSL will NOT instantly make the site rank on searches, but it will help over time)

	I am fine with it not showing up. Not worth 150 bucks to not have new members join a site about a 40 year old RPG that has about 30 people world wide still playing it.

	I got the money D, thanks for that! John, I am indeed signing up for this service because from what I am learning it might slow down (or even stop) the daily hack attempts and fake ID's I contend with constantly. It's worth it for that alone. BUT with that said, if this winds up causing issues for the site, or needs additional crazy tech steps to make work. I will kill it and get my money back. We will know by Friday if this works or not. Thanks.

	So everything seems to be complete. Once people's bookmarks and cache are redirected etc they should be seeing the new secure server. As far as showing up in search sites, this will take some time, as the new site gets indexed etc. Could take months (without paying for services to expedite this process which is like $400 a month, no joke). And John, I'm glad you were inspired. Did you like the scene with the disappearing bottle of Molson?

	So I still am dealing with some spam accounts, but nowhere nearly as bad as it was, which is great! Search engine success is still suspect. It comes up on like the 5th or 6th page, but does better on lower end search engines (as compared to Google etc.). Too many other larger sites are paying money to own the searches unfortunately. Over time, the search engine hits should increase though. So far I think the purchase makes sense. It's good for three years so we can decide then if we want to renew Thanks again for all the help.
