So if you had to have a Theme Song for each of your characters what would it be?

Dick Dante does not have a Theme Song but instead would have various ones at the correct time.

The first that comes to mind after being betrayed by the Sisters would be

I'm a Loser by The Beatles

Any of my characters:

Bodies - by Drowning Pool

Lyrics
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Beaten why for (why for)
Can't take much more
(Here we go, here we go, here we go)
One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
(Now)
Push me again (again)
This is the end
(Here we go, here we go, here we go)
One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Skin against skin, blood and bone
You're all by yourself but you're not alone
You wanted in now you're here
Driven by hate consumed by fear
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
One, nothing wrong with me
Two, nothing wrong with me
Three, nothing wrong with me
Four, nothing wrong with me
One, something's got to give
Two, something's got to give
Three, something's got to give now
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

The Heavy Hitter gets a distant look on his face and a longing in his soul when he hears  “ Ride Like The Wind” by Christopher Cross.

Here's a complete list of Theme Songs for every character

Marshal Strong : "Killing Me Softly" by Roberta Flack

Kid Nemesis : "Papa Was a Rolling Stone" by The Temptations

The Commando : "The Ballad of the Green Berets" by Staff Sgt. Barry Sandler

Deacon Hammer : "Angel in Black" by Primal Fear

Mr. Impossible :  "Hard as Iron" by Judas Priest.

The Closer:  "Patience" by Guns N' Roses

The Spartan   "The Fallen One" by Hammerfall

Dynamo Sloth  "Slow Ride" by Foghat

The Eliminator   "Killing Machine" by Wolfsbane

And of course...

John Q Public   "I Didn't Mean to Turn You on"  by Robert Palmer.  Wink
("Jugulator" by Judas Priest might be a slightly better match.)

Oni, do you remember the adventure with The Closer?  I remember almost nothing about it other than The Closer failing his roll against his weakness of “low impulse control” and blowing up our meticulous plan of coordinated attack. I think we spent like 20 minutes of real time planning and then I fail my roll, and the next moment The Closer is giving a rebel yell and charging the enemy compound with both guns blazing.  Those were the days.

That was before Oni. That was Jan and Paul.

You were three Chinese brothers, The Ringer, the Closer and Jan’s Guy was the Silence.

Ahhh... I see. I barely remember the details about The Closer. I know he was one of the more "underpowered" characters I've had. I think he needed one more power (that meshed with his other powers) to get a theme working and make him more formidable.

Despite not remembering him well, that is still one of my favorite V&V moments. I remember laughing our asses off. And knowing Jan was there makes it more hilarious, cause Jan always was so strategic and cautious in his approach. That was also a brilliant GM moment, because if ever a weakness had a possibility of factoring in to a gaming moment, that was it.

I think my guy cut someone's dick off.  I mean that could have been any night, but I specifically remember it with these guys.

I loved that moment . Great use of a weakness. And we all laughed when you pretended to roll up your sleeve and Start punching.

I forget their powers.

Silencer was good at long range shooting and weakness detecting, Ringer had HTH bonus but normal strength, and Closure has increased strength and invulnerablity?

John, I found my character sheet for The Closer.  He’s even weaker than I thought. I think he’d need two more powers to be powerful enough to hang with super powered villains.

Okay, looking at the character sheet, it seems that the most powerful thing about him is that he’s 5’10” .
Other than that I only have two powers listed.
1.) Absorption: Power point absorption:  can absorb whatever power target spends as long as he’s touching them.
2.) Natural Weaponry:  +3 to hit , +6 damage.

Strangely, he’s got a 25 Endurance, but I don’t have “heightened endurance” listed. He’s only listed as third level, so I don’t think he could have a 25 endurance from just training. Did something happen in a particular adventure that raised his endurance?

He has two weaknesses listed, Low self control and Obsessive compulsive: “Fear of leaving something unfinished”.  I wonder if I took a second weakness to raise my Endurance?

Strength 12, Endurance 25, Charisma 10, intelligence 15, Agility 15

Knowledge Areas:  Space shuttle pilot (can’t believe I forgot that!), Physics, dodge, Martial arts, and Grappling.

Basically, he’s more of a non-powered secret agent type who knows karate, than a meta.

If I look at him optimistically, his theme song could be, “Secret Agent Man” by Johnny Rivers.

If I look at him pessimistically, his theme song could be, “A Tree Too Weak to Stand” by Gordon Lightfoot.
