Crisis at Crusader Citadel

Taking advantage of the MP conversions of the Crusaders and the Crushers, last Friday night I ran a Mighty Protectors game at Gary Con in Wisconsin, modernizing the many decades old classic introductory adventure "Crisis at Crusader Citadel".

We had a full table (six players, plus myself as GM, assisted by my son), and the game went well.

It was surprising how many V&V games were at this old-school con.  Besides this event, there was another MP game, and another person ran four 2.0 games (he ran two games twice; I played in one of each).

I'll post some pictures later, but the PCs did well.  They ended up playing Shatterman, Condor, Gilgamesh, Hotshot, Tattercloak, and Knight Owl.  They ran the Crushers off in the first half (felling half of them), and chased them (with a few more captures) at the Citadel to end it.

I haven't got around to downloading them off my phone.

I really need to, as once I finally do, I can go get a new phone (it's the only thing holding me back from doing so).

No rush. Whenever you get a chance.

I never did.  I just saw a few pics when I was scrolling through my phone yesterday.  Need to download so many pics, which will end up being a pretty big project.

Alright, finally got around to downloading and editing those photos.

These first five pics are from the first warehouse skirmish:

You can see how I stacked "boxes" to make the warehouse somewhat 3D

Yep, made everything myself.

For the maps (in white) I simply scan them in and then enlarge them until they're the right scale, then print them off in sections and tape them together.

The for the stacks of boxes (in brown), I just drew the individual sections out and then stacked them up, using something to elevate them to different levels for a bit of a 3-D effect.
