Hello all.

Due to a ridiculous amount of Harvester attacks on the site lately (via Guest access) I have decided to turn off Guest access for a while (to start) to see if that remedies the issue.

This will have zero impact on registered users. When a new prospective joiner comes to the site, they will see all the boards but will be able to read posts, but they will not have any functionality on the board unless they register an account.

No.  Any reason why it's needed? If you know someone who wants to read stuff just ask them to create an account.

Sorry but the site gets inundated with spambots and it slows the server down big time.
