I've been rolling the polyhedrons since 1979, and starting my career as a referee with 1st-edition V&V in 1980.  I moved on to 2nd Edition in '82 and ran a pretty-much uninterrupted campaign for about ten years, after which Real Life™ expanded to fill all available space for awhile.

The resurgence of My Favoritest Game EVAR™ has brought me out of retirement, and I'm in the process of rebuilding my old campaign, which draws its inspiration from such diverse sources as Saturday-morning cartoons, MEGO action figures, Jack Kirby's Fourth World stories, and the 1980 Flash Gordon movie (we tended to get a little silly and campy sometimes...);  lucky for me I've kept all my notes and character sheets from those days!

Now I just have to find them all...

I'm new here. From a quick glance at the threads on my way in, I recognized a couple handles from the Criticalfumble.net forum (I go by Ja§on over there).

I'm always glad to bat around ideas, particularly of the superhero RPG variety. I've played V&V on and off since the early 80s, and RPGs in general since the late 70s. I'm deep into superhero movies, books, etc, and I'm doing my best at raising the next generation to know their mutants from their cyborgs.

I am a compulsive character creator, sketcher, and rules tinkerer, so V&V is probably my favorite overall game. And that, in a somewhat oversized and untidy nutshell, is why I'm here.

In the pre-CritFumble days, I posted under my given name at webrpg, rpghost, and a couple other V&V forum incarnations from the mid-90s on.

Just registered today, really enjoy the site and the depth people put into their hero's. I've been rpging since the early 80's, got hooked on V&V mid 80's (although I havent played V&V since 1991). Just found out over Christmas that V&V was back and immediately bought the rule book. I started playing Pathfinder last year but can't convince the group to try V&V, their loss.  Hopefully, I can find a group in my area interested in V&V!!

Anyway great site and I look forward to contributing in the future.
