Expressing his desire to go to Mars, Captain Atlas explained to Nasa how he would be able to do so.  By taking a space shuttle, flying it to space using his own power, filling it with oxygen tanks, food and water, the mission would be low cost.    Agreeing to this NASA lent Captain Atlas one of their unused Shuttles; the Excelsior.
    Captain Atlas went into the ship, used his “intrinsic field generation” power and simply few off towards Mars.     Taking one breath a day was all he needed to stay alive.  Food and water intake was minimal.  He took four months to make the journey.  While there he took soil samples, flew the Martian surface and explored the Face.  He confirmed that the face is the body of some giant alien.  Whether or not it’s a native Martian or not is undetermined.   He flew back, taking another four months.  He lost 80lbs on the trip, which he gained back in two days! 
    It is public knowledge that he went to Mars, but the body he found is still kept top secret.
