Thanks, Skydiver!
Exonaut! Physicist Jayne Fields has accidentally uncoupled herself from existence in an experiment gone tragically awry. The chain reaction process that would remove her physical body completely from reality would take a month to unfold and then she would be gone forever, to who knows where?! Jayne had 30 days to save her own existence; to somehow anchor herself to this dimension. With minutes to spare, she created the Exonaut exoskeleton and now she explores the boundaries of the multiverse as Exonaut!
Origin type: Accidental Scientific Personality Type: Super-scientist adventurer/explorer Level: 1 Sex: Female Age: 30
Weight: 130 lbs. Strength: 9 Endurance: 10 Agility: 12 Intelligence: 17 Charisma: 15
Background: Scientist, Research/Technology
Powers: All Jayne's devices are combined in the Exonaut exoskeleton:
Invisibility Device: As per the rules, but reversed. Jayne is permanently invisible and must spend charges to be visible!
Non–Corporealness Device: Jayne is permanently non-corporeal and must spend charges to have a physical, tangible form! To be clear, when not spending charges, Jayne and the exoskeleton are invisible and non-corporeal.
Vibratory Powers Device: When Jayne presses herself further into our dimension, it creates a local disturbance. She can focus this disruption in the fabric of reality into an attack wave, as per Vibratory Powers.
Psionics Device: Dimensional Sense: As per personal Dimensional Travel except Jayne is immaterial and unsubstantial in all other dimensions. The Exonaut exoskeleton, that keeps her in our reality, doesn't work anywhere else but in the frequencies of her home dimension. So in all other dimensions, she is permanently invisible, permanently non-corporeal, mute and completely undetectable by normal means. She is just a disembodied consciousness who can merely observe these other dimensions, similar to a weaker form of Astral Projection.
Phobia/Psychosis: While putting on a brave face, Jayne secretly lives in terror that the Exonaut exoskeleton will fail and she will be reduced to ghost-like non-existence at home as well. She is driven to find a cure for her condition or secure her place here permanently through other means. All Inventing Points and leisure time must be spent in this effort; to cure her condition, add charges to the exoskeleton, etc. If a villain were to offer a cure, she would take it, even if it meant joining him and attacking her friends (like early Ben Grimm).
PS: When Jayne uses the disruption attack, the rippling waves in the fabric of reality give away her position, even if she's invisible.
