I was talking to Stormdance about the Micronauts and how be both loved that comic as a kid.   I re read the entire series a few years ago and I have to say, it still holds up as  decent comic.  The wonderful Michael Golden and later Brodrick art, the space opera story, and the characters.  It was comic gold.

Same with Rom.   It was based on a silly toy, but the comic was a good read.

What else do you remember fondly as a child, and holds up well today?

I really liked Infinity Inc. I loved the characters, the art, the storyline, but the original COIE pretty much gutted the group's backstory. The book was never the same after Crisis.  Sad

I have to agreee 100%.   Infinity Inc was the first DC comic I collected.  Just in time for Crisis to ruin it.

I think the old Uncanny X-Men I read growing up would still hold up.  I couldn't speak for the current X-men books as I don't read any of the 75 different X-titles.

I particularly enjoyed the X-Men / Micronauts cross over.

X Men still hold up to around 200 or so.   If you like them after that, I won't argue with you.

Looking at the cover gallery, I'm thinking ranges from 150-199.

Byrne/Austin's Uncanny X-Men
Miller's first Daredevil run
Miller's Dark Knight Returns
Moore's Watchmen
Moore's Miracleman
Moore's V for Vendetta
Wiilingham's Elementals
Sienkiewicz's Moon Knight
Golden's Micronauts
Simonsen's Thor
Byrne's FF
Chaykin's American Flagg

Wow. Pretty good childhood / teenhood

Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans

And all the comics listed above

V&V character creation is too much fun.

I'd agree on the TT.. I loved them early on...

And I'd read anything by Byrne...
X-Men
Fantastic Four
Hulk

Even Superman
