I've used several of these in not just V&V, but in other supers games I've played. While some might seem a bit cliche, I always try to throw in an interesting twist or two, to liven things up for the PCs.

I checked all of them but the comical weakness and the town/Mind Control.  On the latter one, I think we've done similar things, but I don't recall doing that exact trope before.
