Your personal gaming relics

Okay, this is probably an oddball topic, but hey, I'm a newbie....

Personal gaming relics... I'm sure that everyone has something particular that is dear to them in their gaming supplies. Since this is a Villains & Vigilantes forum I'll bring up one of mine that is related... the V&V die.

When I first ordered V&V back in 89, 90 (can't remember exact year), I was a poor labor class kid that had to keep things as close to the $15 order minimum that Wargames West allowed for mail order at the time. In an effort to get it right on the money I ordered an individual gaming die to sum up the odd change.... it was a transparent blue six sider that fit the bill nicely.
This particular die I'm holding arrived with my V&V game and it is the die that I began to use when the game called for a six sider and it is the die that I use to this day when I'm creating new characters and such for V&V.

Petty yes, but this little piece of blue plastic is meaningful to me personally.

For me, I've still got my original plastic bag version of Steve Jackson Games GEV. That's the game that got me started gaming, beat up, faded, and with rusting staples, I'll hold onto that sucker until the paper disintegrates.

For me it is a pair of D10s and a D20.  They were the type that came with a crayon (grease pen?) that you could color in yourself.

I will try to get a picture later today and post.

V&V character creation is too much fun.

I still have those.  I was explaining that to Dr  Foom when he was here.  I still have those from my boxed set of D&D.

I remember those... I think you can still get a big batch of translucent ones on ebay.... but not from the main company (prolly rip offs)
The original ones had kind of a funny sense of weight to them... is it just me or were they lighter than most dice?

Stormdance makes fun of my screen which is falling apart.   He did shame me into using scotch tape to hold it together.

Is this "calculator" the almost mythical Dragon Bones electronic dice machine? Or an actual calculator?

Oh, it's a real calcualtor all right. We'll see him during our Friday night session and maybe I can talk him into posting a story. He seems to always start it and never finish it.
