The Psions

Long time foes of the teen hero group, the Young Guardians, the Psions are a group of young supervillains who display a wide range of psionic abilities. How they acquired their abilities remains a mystery to the authorities. Unknown to the authorities, the original Psions were the offspring of a group of soldiers, prisoners, mental patients, who'd volunteered to test experimental drugs, designed to enhance their latent mental abilities. The villain Overmind, one of the initial test subjects, was the group’s only “success”.
