	Level isn't as defining in V&V as it is in some other games--but it still makes a difference. I've read a number of D&D discussions about which level-ranges are most fun for players, so I thought I'd post the question here. Please elaborate on your answer. Also, if you're a GM but not a player, say which level of PCs you most enjoy.

	I personally enjoy mid-range characters. They're not noobs, but they're also not grizzled veterans that have seen it all. They still have room for advancement, and can perhaps look forward to a bit of growth (via training or inventions). They're tough enough to go toe-to-toe with most villains, yet not strong enough that they can take on a world beater all by themselves. I voted for 9-10, though it could just as easily been 7-8.

	I voted 3-4. Not first level, but still learning. Things are still dangerous.

	I voted for 5-6, but think 5th-9th level is my personal favorite. You've got some skill under your belt, and have gotten the hang of things, but big league baddies are still going to be a challenge for you.

	Looks like most votes (6 of the 7 so far) have been in the 3rd through 10th range, with more than half (4 of 7) picking 3rd through 6th. This might be why many of my players enjoy switching to a new PC after playing them to mid-range like this.

	I always had fun with the guys who were just starting out. Given what leveling up in V&V means, we never had a problem with starting new characters all the time. Plus, there were so many fun concepts!

	I like the noobies as well, everyone's learning, getting a feel for their character. With inventions, training, etc... Things do seem to change considerably after level 3 or 4.
