How would you do this power?

Hey the news about V&V coming back is great. I'm sure we all will be investing in it when it hits shelves.

My question is about a power for game. How would you guys interpret it/write it.

In the Marvel Superhero game, Juggernaut has a limited movement rate.(I think 2") But his forward momentum cannot be stopped. How would you write it for V&V?

The Juggernaught has Mutant Power:

Can transfer his movement rate for extra damage on his HTH.  He can move slower and turn that potential speed to extra kinetic damage.

Does that make sense?

And to make him more dangerous, he has Speed Bonus!   Wink

I guess that would work, but seems I didn't clarify.

How would I write it so that his forward movement can not be stopped. (By people, buildings, etc.)

or would just the extra HTH work?

I figure all the comics tend to exagerate.  Do you really think the Sentry has the powers of a million exploding suns, or that Odin is omnipotent?   If yes, then just say that nothing can stop him.

If no, then figure his hth plus all that extra damage would pretty much smash any obstacle that he comes across.

I think this method works very well for Juggy.  The one time he is stopped when he was doing his march was in a Spidey issue.  Spidey tries hitting him with an 18 wheeler fuel truck and it doesn't work but when Spidey tricks Juggy into walking into a wet cement foundation, he sinks.

The cement didn't provide anything for Juggy to hit, so he was stopped by the sinking and hardening of the cement.  I think the story stated the foundation was 18 feet thick.

V&V character creation is too much fun.

Correct, he had nothing to root his mass against to continue forward... however, when the foundation dried, he was able to bring the building down in escaping....

This gives you insight on how long he can survive sans life supporting environs....

And I think there was quite a bit of discussion at ne point about what if Juggernaught and the Blob encountered one another...

But I agree, HTH plus Momentum Bonus = damage that will not stop him.
