While recovering from the Cosmic Energy Enhancer explosion,  Elusion came up with some plans for a healing booster gel.  Eager to work on it after his release from the hospital he went to the CHESS labs to work on it.  He, Dark Warrior , and newly activated agent Modi spent the better part of a week tinkering.
    The Dark Warrior isolated, removed, and modified the Adversary's omniwave device, while  Modi, out of boredom, absorbed everything he could find in the CHESS archives about Norse Related incidents.
    Elusion's first attempt at making his solution produced a gel that seemed to burn his flesh, giving him a bit of a rash.  His second attempt proved to work.  He invented a healing solution!
    Wally Speck,  The Dark Warrior's invention seemed to work.   He is now just one step away from going home.
   Leaving the lab, Wally spotted a tech carrying an orange prision jump suit.  He spotted the name Raymond Phelps on it and inquired.   
   Ray Phelps had escaped again!   Last time, in the incarnation Shrinking Ray, he escaped but was recovered.  They were scrutinizing his clothes to see if he was hiding, microscopically in the threads.   They only found that the clothes were slightly radioactive, so they were scheduled to be burned.
   While eating, they were contacted by CHESS angel, Jenny Zen.   They were asked to go to Japan and investigate Takeda Yoshi, as he is putting his hat in the race to run for Prime Minister of Japan under the newly formed Kodo Party.    As they know,   Yoshi was killed  and is buried in his native Japan.   Zenn asked if they could get a sample of his DNA as they believe he might be Shifter, a rogue metahuman with the ablity to transform into different human apearences.
     Taking State Department Idenitification, the trio flew to Japan.  They watched Yoshi speak, and he was suprisingly charismatic.  Elusion used his power to animate part of Yoshi's shirt.  To his suprise, it teleported over to him.
   They analysised the shirt tag and found Yoshi to not be Yoshi.  It wasn't Shifter either.   In fact, the sample had no DNA.  Yoshi wasn't anything known to science!
    They went out to the Kodo Compound, and confronted Yoshi with a warrent for his arrest.   He showed his true colors and attacked waving Grasscutter.  He transformed into a hideous oni.   Dark Warrior figured out that this was the oni formerly known as No Name that pestered the CHESS agent Oni before  Oni was killed.  Oni was Takeda Yoshi, and No Name was obessed with pestering him. 
    No Name killed Yoshi's grandfather and made him self leader of the Kodo Clan.  It is not known how he obtained the lost blade Grasscutter.  Taking a few hard hits,  No Name teleported to Kyoto and started to use his power of Ruler and Emperor of all Japan to transform the city into a feudal/mytholgical wonder.
    Dark Warrior flew the heroes to Kyoto and he threw the Mighty Modi at No Name.   Modi unleased his Warcry but missed No Name and hit the pavement hard.   Dark Warrior blasted him a few times with vibroblasts but his sword repelled them.   Elusion animated some dirt that absorbed No Name's powers of telekinese and teleportation and tried to wrest the sword from his hand.
    Modi, recovred from his tumble,  smashed No Name into the ground.   Around this time they started to realise that all the pain and injuries inflicted on No Name were dispersed among the rank and file Japanese.   They were harming innocents unknowlingly!
   Modi, enraged, commanded his hammer to glow with the light of truth.   This showed that No Name was not even a real oni, but a billious cloud of ectoplasm.  He was  a Dream of an oni.   Hmm, odd.  A sentient dream....
    No Name commanded the earth itself to fight and created six 100' tall earth monsters to battle.  One stamped on Modi.   Elusion aninmated one and had it attack No Name.
    Dark Warrior used his refined power cosmic to powerblast No Name.   The trio just pounded on him until Elusion used his earth golemn to teleport the sword out of No Name's hands.   Then Dark Warrior's blast overtook him.   With no one to control the giants,  they started to crumble.   Dark Warrior created a force feild to contain the debris and land it safely.
    They called in Jenny Zenn and gave her the sword.  To her suprise, the power over Japan was confered to her and she was able to repair the damage.   She stayed in Japan to help with the repairs to Toyko, that were still being done since the Triple Threat attack three years ago.   
     Dark Warrior, Modi and Elusion flew a small jet back to the Black Mesa when they spotted a negative looking glowing black skeleton flying away.  Dark Warrior phased through the ship and saw it to be the newest incarnation of Ray Phelps.  Now he was X Ray!
     Elusion tried to fly the ship into him, but the wing hit the roof of the Mesa causing the ship to crash.    Dark Warroir defeated X Ray by hiting him with Devitalization rays.     Raymond Phelps is once again, under custody!
