After last nights session, John allowed me to add some cool tech to Glare's armor.

The first is a holographic HUD. it's an offshoot of the suits visual illusion ability. All it does is give me visual communications inside the suit, but I can also create images of what I see outside it, so I can show my team mates what I am seeing. This goes well with what I added next

I then added a link from my suit to all the spy satellites orbiting earth. So unless I fail a clearance roll, I can use the satellites (out of combat, which I agreed with) to view things at a distance. With the HUD, I could then show my team mates what I'm seeing from the satellite images. In situations where we can view the potential combat area with a satellite, this is going to give out team a tactical advantage. It will require me to make detect hidden rolls at times, but I thought it was cool to add such tech to my armor. I'm no Iron Man, but I love the idea of using cutting edge to near future tech in the armor my character wears. It's nice to make the character more versatile, rather than just amp up his laser blast  Smiley

Glare's armor is unique. It doesn't need roller skates  Cool

That's a cool idea, indeed!  Majestic's got an HUD (for everything within 30" of him), but it's nowhere near as cutting edge or cool as what you've described!    Cool

Originally I was just going to have a normal HUD, but then John said something about having it based off his Illusion power, so I ran with it. The Sat link was my idea though.

As Stormdance pointed out, I should see about adding some kind of targeting system. Of course, he has personal reasons for wanting that; on Glare's first mission, he fired a laser blast that missed the bad guys, and hit Modi in the back of the head!  Embarrassed
