Looks like the first 3rd party V&V release is finally available! ZCP: Supervillains just went live on RPGNow for V&V. I've seen the BASH version, and I think the layout looks real good. A nice mix of villains, all in full color. You can get it here

Has anyone here picked it up?  We've sold just under 30 copies of the V&V one, so I assume someone must have picked up a copy who frequents these boards Wink

What did you like?

What didn't you like?

What would you like to see next?

Cheers!

I got it.  Haven't had a chance to go through it yet though...  Artwork looks good.

I have a question:
When I downloaded it I received 2 files.  It looks like one file has the back cover and one doesn't.  Is there any other difference between them?

I picked it up for VnV the morning it was released but alas, I have not had time to do much more than peek at it.  When I have time I will give it a much closer examination.

Congrats on getting it out!

I heard that an updated/corrected version was in thw works. (Would that make it 2.2?  Smiley

Does anyone know if the revised edition is available for purchase. The low price works for my budget, but I'm holding off for the errata-fixed edition.

Okay, lemme rephrase. Does anyone have a list of the errata for this adventure in case I decide to purchase it as is.

I heard there were some miscalcuations, typos, and a coloring error that makes a green character look grey. Anybiody have an errata list?

You do realize that if you buy it now, you can just download any updated versions from DriveThru/RPGNow once they are updated?

Also, I just got a message from Aslan on Facebook. He is in the process of moving, so it may be awhile before he can give a proper response to your questions.

Sof if it's going to be a while before any correx are made, does anyone have any info and what the typos and other inconsistencies were?

I think there's an errata thread with info in it floating around. I'll look for it in the AM, and post the link if I can find it.

I know it's been discussed somewhere on the forums here. I'm also sure Aslan has all ready sent whatever corrections that he was aware of to his layout person to correct. However, until he gets settled, I seriously doubt it's going to be uploaded.

And as I pointed out earlier, if you buy it now, once it's updated, you can download the updated pdf. While you may want to wait, the more sales this gets, the more likely Aslan will do a second one. So if you want to see a second volume for V&V, support this one.

Thanks all.  The errata were pretty minor, really.  I don't think that was a color mistake, simply that the Green Gargoyle is grayish in color.

As others have said, Aslan is in the middle of moving (not to Narnia, but out of the country), so be patient, I'm sure the fixes will be done just as soon as they can get to them.   Smiley

Since it sounds like it might be a while before the corrected PDF is ready, could you be gracious enough to post all of the errata you already collected? That way I'll have it when I purchase the PDF and won't have to wait. Since you were kind enough to post all of the errata (and even some non-errata) from Enemies at Large, you'd be a real peach if you could post the errata list for Supervillains. It'd really help me out. And I'm sure it would help others out to. I don't want to start using the adventure and then stumble on mistakes and scratch my head. If you already collected that info, could you share it? Please! Supervillains is the one resource cheap enough for me to buy.

I'm pretty sure that when you purchase it, you won't need any of the errata (i.e., the document will be completely updated with all of the errata fixed).

I don't have a way of sending out just the errata.  I can't find the email with that info, and I simply corrected the wrong stuff on the original document (sending in a new, revised document with everything corrected).

So when you get it, it should all be fixed.    Smiley

They may not have updated it yet, but I'm thinking they probably will when they get a chance.

I'm sure they will. I figured since Aslan has been busy with his move across Canada and such, uploading updated versions of ZCP (in any format) isn't a priority at the moment. I'm sure once he's settled in his new home, he will take care of it.

I'm confused. How will it be fixed when I get it if it hasn't been updated. Are they sending it backward through time?

I kind of wish you were able to post any errata you caught so I could know ahead oif time the same way that you posted correx in this thread. It'd be nice to know what the updates are. Not trying to put you on the spot. I didn't even know you were involved with the project when I posed the question. Peace.

I don't have the ability to update their document, sir.  I merely did the V&V conversions for these characters.  I think I have the corrections (changes) in a document at home, but I was hardly home yesterday so haven't had a chance to check yet.

I believe that they will update the document, and from that point forward anybody who purchased it will likely be able to have the new (updated) document, for free.

Anytime a product is updated on RPGNow, that you have previously purchased, you get a link to download the new updated version free of charge. You just have to check your account and click on the "products updated since I last downloaded" link.

I am constantly checking that on my account there as several of the pdfs and other products I have bought get updated frequently, PDF Shuffler (mapping software) gets updated all the time and the updates are free.

I gathered that, mayo.  And I think you'll be pleased with what you see (the villains in it are pretty cool!).

The few minor adjustments (minor corrections) may not be in the version you purchased, but I think they'll be updated sometime this weekend or thereabouts.    Smiley
