V&V WW2?

Was there ever a V&V product set in WW2?  I am looking for counters for an adventure I want to run and I always LOVED the V&V ones.

If not, can anyone point me to some kind of art resource on the web to find pics suitable for counters of Nazis and Joes and such Smiley

Cheers!

Nope, all of the published material was set in the "modern" era.

You might check out 7 Wonders paper friends page. He has a lot of standup cardstock mini images that could be used for counters with a little tweaking in gimp or photoshop easily enough. Two pages of WWII images I found with a quick look.
Here is a sample.

Funny things is, Stewart Wieck and I did get started on a WWII supplement for V&V. It never got past some preliminary writing. For the life of me, I don't even remember what we were gonna call it!

Well, it's not like we wouldn't by it if were published today (hint, hint) it wouldn't get my money.

I'm not sure if this will help, but here are the characters I can think of with ties to WWII.

Vigilantes International includes stats for Lady Liberty and Mister America, two heroes who fought during World War II.

Vigilantes International also includes stats for Captain Crisis, whose origin story dates back to WWII.

Most Wanted Vol. 3 includes the villain Mirror Man, whose origin ties back to WWII (but it doesn't look like he got his powers until 1967).

Crisis at Crusader Citadel tells us that Stormlord's father was a WWII superhero named Excaliber.

Also,
Stuka from Super Crooks and Criminals also has a WWII origin and Ramses from the same volume is a case where an ancient Egyptian awakens in the 20th Century; who is to say he didn't wake in the 30's?

If it's not fun, we're not doing it right.
