While helping Powerhouse and Captain Atlas power lift surveillance satellites into orbit,  a UFO crashes into a power station in Northern New Jersey.   Scion grabs Glare and off they go.
    Glare taps into all the local communication networks and finds out that the UFO is some alien spy craft.  Local fire fighters are calling for specialized equipment to deal with the fire in the electrical plant.
     Scion lets Glare go, and he flies under his own power. Scion goes in for a closer look, finds that parts of the ship have been crystallized.   She also gets a telepathic warning in Moevian to stay back.  She takes a two ton girder and begins smashing the ship.

     A huge, big for even a Moevian, Moevian leaps out and swings at her.   He  is one of the Moevian Elite and  his name translates as Atom Child.  Atom Child seems to be in Atlas category strength level.   There is no reason for Scion to go easy on this big fella.  Next an energy ray fires at Scion from another Elite.  His name is translated as Entropy, and he seems to have disintegration based powers.    Still wondering who the telepath is,  Glare move in to back up Scion and he takes a hit from Atom Child.   He is unfazed by the punch, but man it was loud!
 
     Glare fires a volley of laser blasts, taking out Entropy.  He figured rightly that energy was needed to defeat him, as he could disintegrate matter.    They try to team up on Atom Child, but then the third occupant of the ship joins the fight.  And true enough it is the telepathy.   The being is clearly not of Moevian Extraction, but of another race.  His name translates at Alien Intelligence.  He attacks Glare mentally, and Glare suffers such pain he almost blacks out.   Realizing that his armor does nothing against his mental attacks, Glare tries to take him out.   He strains his batteries firing another volley of light based attacks at the morphing alien shape.  He nearly cuts in half, and the thing goes down. 
     Now the two team up on Atom Child.  Scion, utilizing her great speed, throws caution to the wind and fights all out on him.   She flights at him so fast that they are both pushed a few yards into  bedrock!   Only Scion comes out!

     They stay and help with the fire fighters, they rescue civilians and help with property damage.  CHESS comes and hauls off Atom Child and Entropy.  They soon find that the Alien Intelligence has escaped.

     They build a dome over the crashed ship, and then begin to analyze it.  They reverse engineer it, and ransack the computer banks.    They find out that this is a Moevian Scout Ship and its mission was to prove to the Chironduk Confederacy that the extermination of Earth is necessary for the greater good of the Galaxy.   Their mission as halted as they had to fight off a glowing human that transformed their hyper drive into crystal and left the ship to crash land.

   So what does this mean?   Will the Confederacy help the Empire destroy Earth?   And Who or what is this glowing defender?
