I took a look at your blog, Ryxis; that's pretty cool that you've posted a lot of your gaming stuff.

Your game world is quite well thought out and intriguing.  Are a few of your heroes (PCs) of the noble, heroic, "do-gooder" type?  Or are all of them morally gray (more like the Punisher)?

Disregard, Ryxis.  I see you've answered my questions (and more) over in the House of Ideas thread.  Cool

It's been 20 years since I ran a campaign, but I just started one online.

It's a historical campaign based during WWII, but I'm trying to create a Bronze Age flavor. I've taken Jeff Dee's V&V historical timeline and intergrated real world history tweaking for story telling where needed.

Heroes are not unheard of but fairly new to the scene and of course there will be a upswing up these super powered individuals as the campaign progresses. I plan on using events from this campaign to set the "history" of any modern campaign I do in the future. The most common reaction by the public will generally be either one of fear or awe, depending on the theme the player has crafted for his character.

It's a wartime based campaign so most the heroes have been recruited by the government to serve on a special meta-commando squad. All of the current heroes civilian identities are known to the government, but are being kept secret unless the hero chooses to reveal them through their actions in the campaign. The organization that is providing them logistic and intel support will likely grow into my world's version of SHIELD/CHESS.

We have an Atlantean character and I'm ex-Navy so adventures based on or near the ocean are likely to be an ongoing theme. An island here, a coastline castle there ...  Wink

plenty of ww2 coastline to go around. if the nazis are artifact hunting, nothing quite like crashed spacecraft near antarctica to drag the conflict onto every continent

I think Ranger posted a direct link to the article.

Try this:
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/vnvrpg/files/

Then click "Magazine Articles".  You'll get more than you bargained for.

Do you have a Yahoo! account?  I add magazine articles from time to time.

Dragon #107 actually has TWO articles:
1) One in a Million
2) The Crusading Life
