Yaeh, 3D printers are awesome! We use them a lot at work to built tools and mock-up parts. If I had one, I would only use it for making paintball guns... so that would be a waste...

There is a kickstarter for a 3d printer that makes it a reasonable price (for a 3d printer).  $2999 gets you a printer, 1 liter of resin, plus you can get 1 liter per month for the life of the printer for only $129.

Actually a really good price.
