Because there is a pretty strong consensus that Agility is so much more useful than other basic characteristics, I'm thinking of the following House Rule:

Heightened Agility A: +2d6
Heightened Agility B: + 3d6

And, to encourage ore heavy-hitters in the game, I am considering another House Rule:

Heightened Strength A: + 2d12
Heightened Strength B: +3d12

That's probably a better idea than swapping the HP modifiers for Strength and Agility (which really changes Hit Points by a negligible margin).

Since the "A" version is supposed to represent some type of training/skill, and the "B" version, a full blown power, how about this:

Heightened Agility A: +2d4
Heightened Agility B: 1d10+10.

For Heightened Strength, how about this.

Heightened Strength A: +3d4
Heighten Strength B: +1d10x5

It's not just about the final value derived, it's about the probability of *getting* the value. 3d10 and d10*3 have very different result profiles (I say x3 and not x5 for a reason -- 50 points from a single Heightened?! That gets real ugly real quick, not happening in anything I run!).  Look up "bell curve".  With 3d10, the odds of getting the top result are 1:1000, 1d10 times any multiple gets you the top result 10% of the time.  The odds were set up the way they were for a reason, the top results shouldn't be that easy to come by!

If you want to be really precise, and have a Ht. A exactly 1/2 of a Ht. B, then the Ht. A should be +2d8 instead of +2d10.  Little edges like that are why players <3 the Skills table...
