	Laserfire... In my game it was exposure to an alien (Capellans) Energy source that transformed Larry into Laserfire... He eventually did start to power up (losing his flame powers but increasing his Light ones and giving him flight) and was eventually going to become Omni... But I never got to that. Soooooooo.... DID IT! HEH! Right there!

	I was going to go Shatterman, for the same reasons, and Dreamweaver for a sec ... because she's Dreamweaver but Evergreen connection to Mother Gaea won out.

	Actually... I guess Evergreen did go cosmic for a brief period... When she was manipulated by her father Foliage... Oh... and it was discovered that she was born the child of an earth mortal and a godly being (Foliage) from... Primion (from DotD). Primion was also where most of the creatures of myth came from... Such as Dragons, Elves, Dwarves ect... In that Universe with that as a backdrop... It only makes sense based on the denizens found there and the mysterious portals that led to not only earth.. But to both Xareon and Targo. Devil's Domain also occupies a dimensional space within the confines of Primio . Thus the three points created a universal triangle... At it's hidden center was the ancient Primion. Cool huh? ... Now if they (whatever creatures) made a culture on earth (or Targo and Xareon) that was they're own... That was another matter. Geez that spun Off on a tangent. The whole point is that Evergreen at least partially is born of that unusual place and the strange powers that one might get in association with it. Better than her rather fairy tale sounding write up in CCC while still somewhat retaining it. wink See how much I invested in the Crusaders...

	Why am I so critical of this question? I'm not a big fan of "cosmic" characters, particularly the heroes, because I think they tend to rapidly deform story lines as the GM has to either temporary gimp the cosmic one (kryptonite), or provide a challenge big enough to challenge the cosmic one but not crush the simple "heroes" if they get in the way ("I'll take on Darkside... you guys can handle the Brotherhood of Evil, right"). The only exception to this is a situation where everyone is cosmic... but then, why bother? I'd rather go the opposite route, and make everyone less powerful and see how they save the world then (I guess I'm a bigger fan of Kick Ass than Superman). The other point I'd like to make is that there are many V&V books available to us. Yes, CACC is a great introductory module... but there are literally dozens of books out there now. Some are classics, some aren't, others are new and niche focused, while others are broad and have a wide appeal. I want to talk about all of them, and I want variety. RAMBLE

	In the spirit of playing nice, the one I would push to go cosmic would be Manta Man. Considering he has the most powers, he would be the easier one to upgrade without losing the spirit of the character, and since his powers are all devices, he could be returned to normal simply by shedding his gear when he returned to planet Earth, or by having the equipment taken from him. Vastly increasing the uppermost speed of his wings could give him hyperspeed, making him interplanetary, and upgrading his water breathing gear to an armor B with integral adaptation, invulnerability and regeneration and semi-sentience would probably be a reasonable start on the road to cosmic-ness. (On the other hand, I'd be interested in seeing how the rest of the Crusaders keep up the fight back on Earth without their leader for a while.) RAMBLE

	Besides being green and red I agree the Skyhawk uniform is much more pleasing design. I do like the wings on Freedom Eagle and Condor though

	It's not such a bad costume; I might have done some differently; but that's the costume of Dee's Freedom Eagle (?) I believe and I think he was going for native American accent. I voted Shatterman, knowing the source of his powers. I too would like to see some variety in the polls, but only because the Crusaders-Crushers aren't very interesting to me. MantaMan never strikes me as a "tech" character when I look at him. Mocker never strikes me as a very threatening anything (His head is supposed to be a jack o'lantern... but if it were, there wouldn't be a Bogeyman illustration, right? ). Dreamweaver is supposed to be the beautiful foil but couldn't be less appealing dressed like an umpire. Don't get me wrong; there's some good stuff too... any way.

	If it's not fun, we're not doing it right.

	I'm not criticizing, I vote anyway And I think it would be strange for me as a contributor to the material to create polls. I could be seen as pushing an agenda or highly biased. My favorite Crusader is Evergreen, followed by Enforcer, then Blizzard. I like that Evergreen is quasi plant in form. My absolute favorite Crusher is Mace. I like Marionette as well; she cracks me up but strikes me as a serious character with a lot of psychosis.
