I went to change my local time on my profile.

1) Click the UserCP tab near the Home tab, above
2) Click the Profile tab underneath it
3) Re-enter password
4) Click Options

On this page, a user can modify their time settings.  Scroll down to find the clock with the caption "Your actually displayed local time:"  I guess this is a common question from users!   Tongue

BTW: Is that what other users see, or what I see?  Or a combination?   Cheesy

Maybe you should change the caption to "Click here for an explanation of the time setting!!"

Yeah, that clock thing is very confusing. Took me a while to get it to show the correct local time.

Well I'm the webmaster and my time is even wrong!!   Roll Eyes

But mine is off an hour so I guess it doesn't auto adjust for DST.

Basically it shows you there your current displayed time and you can then adjust from there just below it.  It works off Grenwhich Mean Time and how many hours you are away from that.  So currently, taking DST into consideration, Eastern Standard time (NY as an example) is -4 from GMT.  So I put in -4 hours and I see the correct time display.

Central would be -5
Mountain -6
Pacific -7
etc.

This looks like the most relevant place to ask - What did I do? All the post are suddenly reading in reverse order. I use to read the. Oldest to Newest. I must have reversed it somehow.  Shocked

1. User CP
2. Options
3. On right side, under the time options (as described above) one of the settings reads "Do you want to reverse the display order of posts in the topic?"  If that option is checked, uncheck it.

You may have inadvertently checked that off when playing with time settings or something.

If it doesn't seem like unchecking that worked, clear your cache and even logout and log back into the forums.

Hope that helps!!

Thank you. Felt like I was in a time travel anomaly.

I hate Time Travel (sorry Doc Wink)

Thanks again
