9 FBI Agents arrive at the scene.  Savannah  and Akira are isolated and questioned.  Agent Powers takes over as lead investigator.   He looks for a blue print of the place and finds what he thinks is an hidden room.

He confirms his suspicions  by listening to the sounds of taps on the walls.  The wall is solid steel so he decides to get the help of the armor plated female powerhouse.  She asks if its wise to bust a wall in a former nanotech lab.  He concurs.

They then get Akira. He is good with computers and finds out that there is a room, and it is drawing power.

He also finds that there is an underground complex not on the blueprints.    They go to the nanotech lab and open the door.

As soon as it opens, a green fluid spills out and splashes against Savanah.  It hardens as it moves.  She swims through it unharmed.  Inside the room is Krogan, the head of security. He is asleep with an I.V. on a table.

The fluid turns to a vague humanoid shape and attacks everyone.  Savannah is frustrated to find out that due to its formless consistency, her punches don't seem to hurt it.

Akira recognizes it as an artificial silicon based mobile computer.  He points out the flashes of electrical current moving through the thing.   He surmises that electrical current might short it out.

Will Powers goes to help the man on the slab. 

Krogan wakes up, and groggily pulls the I V from him and falls to the floor.


Akira strips some electrical wires and jabs the Jellyman, causing the lights to flicker. 
Savannah picks up a table and pushes the thing back.

Krogan picks up Will Powers and holds him up in the air with one hand.   Everyone starts to think that Krogan was also transformed by the nanites.

Krogan holds up his hand and sends kinetic engery in a focused blast at the thing, blasting it all over the room. 

Savannah grabs Akira and runs him to the cryogenics lab.

Will follows.   Krogan,  amazed by what he just did stands by himself and thinks.  He then see the Jellyman reform, and ooze out into the hallway.   He slices it in half with his palm, but it reforms.   It seems that physical punches and such do it no harm.


Savannah makes it to the Cryolab, but she sees Will Powers is already there.  How?  He was just behind her?  Odd.

Will is just as surprised to find he is here,  nevermind he thinks, right now he is searching for something specific....

He reaches down and finds a freezing cold metal canister.  Perfect.  He tries to hand it to Savannah, but its snatched away by the Jellyman.  It seems they can control their adhesiveness also.

  Well, Savannah punches the canister and it explodes Freon all over the place.  She is caught in the cold blast as well as the jelly thing. 

The cold seemed to render it inert.    They take a breather in the lab but they are interrupted by Agent Danvers.  He is at the door, sweating, and holding a gun to his head.

Akira scans his mind and he is thinking how he doesn't want to do this, but that snake guy is making him.   

Will runs over to him and he and Savannah both slap the gun out of his hands.  The gun fires and nearly hits Savannah in the eye!

  In the hallway is one of the other techs, Spencer Bainbridge.  He is transformed. He looks like a snake man,  all scaley,  with serpent eyes, and along tongue.   He is laughing and tells the agent to kill himself.    Will Powers runs outside and sees all nine agents with guns to their heads.  Powers fires at Lord Naga, hitting him.  Savannah charges her fists with energy and punches him.  He flies back.   He then is hit with a blast from Krogan.   Lord Naga jumps on Krogan and bites him in the shoulder.

Will Powers fires at Lord Naga, and Savannah splits his head in two with a fire axe.

Meanwhile,  Akira is fighting with a sentient dust storm.  Not knowing what else to do he lashes out with a pcionic attack.  Everyone in the complex is filled with joy.   Will Powers blocks out this nonsense. 

All the agents follow their last order to kill themselves and do it with large smiles on their faces.

Savannah takes the fire hose and hoses down Dust.  He can not seem to change his shape, and Krogan, with a huge smile, fires two blasts at Dust, destroying a large section of the hallway.  This reveals a tunnel underneath.

Will Powers fires at a third person, who was hiding, watching all this.   Not knowing if he hit him or not, he teleports in front of the fleeing suspect.   The man in blue, calling himself Tremor, starts up a quake that threatens to collapse this place.  Will fires at him again, and Krogan blasts him.    Last but not least, Savannah knocks Tremor into the ceiling.

With no one else to fight, everyone tries to recoup.   Adrenaline starts to wear off, and some of the group start to feel a bit sick.   When the door bursts open and a beautiful blue woman, Lapis Lazuli sashays in.   She has two men by her side,  two other former techs.  She says enough is enough, and orders her goons to take everyone out.

While sorting files in Langley, Virginia, Marshal Strong is told that special agent William Powers stopped reporting when investigating a former CHESS black site.

He assumes the worst and orders a chopper to take him to Colorado.

Strong pilots the 40 year old two seater to the reclusive mountain facility.   He is shot down by a small surface to air rocket.  He dives out and lands on...something.

He realizes that something invisible is floating above the base.  Then, a he sees a human, unconscious, flying towards a boulder. He dives off and catches the man, saving him from a neck breaking impact. 

Strong looks up and sees a fat man, in a yellow and red costume with a working TV image on his chest.  He laughs and pulls a giant anvil from behind him and misses.  Marshal Strong punches him three times.  The third times causes Doc Saturday's head to explode, coating EVERYING within a quarter mile in blood.  His blood than flies around like a deflated balloon.

While on the ground, a giant human emerges as if from behind a cloaking field and stomps on him.



Inside the base,  Mindgames, Singularity, Haywire and Special Agent Will Powers square off against Lapis Lazuli, Sublime and Pit Boy.

Pit Boy opens a hole underneath Haywire's feet, sending him to the layer below.  Sublime spins and punches Singularity in the face. His hand explodes into a caustic gas.  Singularity punches Lapis Lazuli, who barely acknowledges the blow.

Lapis Lazuli takes her measure of Singularity  and eye gouges BOTH her eyes with her thumbs.   This both stuns and blinds Singularity.

Mindgames links his mind with Singularity to aid her in her time of blindness. He then instills her with courage.  Will Powers steals a play from Lapis Lazuli and fires four times hitting her every time in the eyes.  Lapis manages to close her eyelids in time, which deflect most of the damage.

Marshal Strong lifts the giant foot from him and tries to topple Atlas.    He runs into the base, and knocks Lapis Lazuli into the hole Pit Boy made.  He then jumps in with her.

Will Powers fires twice, putting Pit Boy down.  Singularity smashes Sublime with a concussive punch to the face, putting him down.

Haywire ties to blast the ground out from under the villains above him, but he gets dizzy and blasts the floor out from under him, sending him another floor deeper into the complex.

Lapis Lazuli and Marshal Strong both tumble down into the subcellar.  Lapis smashes her own thigh, cracking it under the tremendous impact.  Strong rolled out of the way at the last second.  He flipped to his feet, and kicked her in the same thigh, cracking it off her body.  He then kicked her in the chest, smashing her body to shards.  Singularity jumps down to join them. Atlas ripped the roof off the hallway and puts his hand in the hole Pit Boy created and pulls the floor out.  Mindgame then instills him with paranoia.  This sends Atlas off into the woods.

Mindgame then goes to the computer center and sends mental images to Singularity so she can navigate the base until her eyesight returns.

Marshal Strong stands to see the Burning Man ready to smash in  Haywire's skull.  Strong throws a kick, which the Burning Man interrupts the kick with his arm, burning his leg.

Will Powers climbs down the hole in the ground via firehose.  Singularity grabs the hose, and Mindgames turns on the water and she sprays Burning Man, extinguishing his fire.

Burning Man stands up, reignites and melts open the latches on five cryochambers.    Marshal Strong grabs two shards of Lapis Lazuli's shattered body and throws them into each of the Burning Man's eyes.  This sends him reeling backwards into a sixth chamber, destroying what ever was contained within.

Singularity grabs Haywire and the team then runs up the stairs.   Marshal Strong rummages through some medical supplies, finds an adrenaline shot and wakes up Haywire.

While running up the stairs,  Sublime explodes in and burns Will Power's face, critically injuring him and putting him out of the fight.

Haywire looks and sees cybernetic zombies, dead reanimated robotic corpses of former techs that were said to have left the project early.  He runs up the stairs.   Haywire smashes Sublime who flies into the arms of the Zomborgs, who feast on his flesh.

Marshal Strong runs to Will Power's car, and pulls up by the exit door.  He sees that Will is going to die if the acid is not neutralized.  He uses antifreeze to counter act it, saving Will's face. 

Mindgame scans for mental activity.  He finds Atlas is still running away, and the Zomborgs are still coming.  He also gleans that one mind is 60 feet in the air.  They look and see nothing.

Mindgames then fires a gun he took from Will Powers and hits...something.

Marshal Strong says its the same invisible ship from before, and jumps up and double smashes it.

The ship then looses its cloak.  Haywire uproots a tree and bats the ship to the ground.

Its then that the Zomborgs catch up to them.  Singularity grabs one and smashes another.  Mindgames fires five rounds into one's face.   Marshal Strong punches the head off of one.

Mindgames is strangled unconscious by one of the undead cyborgs while Marshal Strong takes care of the last two.

They all climb or jump up onto the saucer shaped ship.

They see sand, of all things, pouring out of the cracked open top hatch.  They rip open the hatch, jump in and find...nothing.

They lose the moving sand, whom Marshal Strong recognizes as Silicon Valerie.   They search around, finding no more villains. 

All in all Lapis Lazuli was confirmed dead, Doc Saturday is presumed dead,  while Pit Boy was captured, and Burning Man, Atlas, and Sublime escaped.

Will Powers was airlifted to a nearby hospital and had to have his face worked on by burn specialists.  Strong cancelled the affects of the acid, but it didn't stop his face from being horribly scared.

He is currently enveloped in bandages head to his chest, and down one arm.

It was great. Right up to the point Will Powers became a horribly scarred freak.

I am thinking of changing his name to Project Metamorphosis. Only John will remotely get that joke.
