I just finished it.  Its amazing!

I loved the comic, now I love the show!

Its like watching my V&V game.  When Paulie's characters fight, there is blood splatter and guts everywhere.   AND he likes to throw villains into the the sun.

Amazon has already renewed it for another season. Hopefully that's enough lead in time that there won't be a big gap before season 2 airs.

Reviews seem to agree that the series has followed the comics pretty closely (I haven't read too far into it yet, to prevent spoilers.)  The review I saw (months ago, so I don't remember which YouTube channel I saw it on) says that they appreciated the fact that the tv series drags a little bit on the part where he's waiting to get his powers.  This builds a bit more tension than the comic did.  I agree, since I've read a few issues.

Lol!  I made certain that the people I recommended it to were aware, as soon as I was, that 1st season ended after 8 episodes to soften the blow!  Without exception, they were all disappointed!
