While looking for an one-panel cartoon image from Dragon magazine on the internet, I stumbled across this curious link.  It shouldn't be too difficult to convert these 'toons to V&V.  Note the artwork by Jeff Dee:

Ok, after scouring my Dragon magazines, I found the article.  It's in Dragon #48 (April, 1981)
