I honestly had a hard time voting, because I think he does great at
all of these things, and it was tough to pick any one over the others.
It's hard for me to pin down what I like about his stuff. It's a little bit "cartoony" (i.e., not completely realistic, like Alex Ross) and yet it looks good enough to still simulate what he's drawing (in other words, his proportions, details, etc. are outstanding).
I like his style, his movement, his attention to detail, the emotion he puts into things, and a whole lot more.
If I had to sum it up in one sentence, I guess I would say his
ability to tell a story with his art is what I like best.
F.Y.I., the best drawing of a PC I've ever seen was the work Bill did on my first V&V character, Nightstalker. He even wrote a note on it how he thought the costume looked awesome!
I wish I still had it!
