This Monday, the wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Foom for the first time.   Through the miracle of this very forum,   Foom and myself made plans to meet up as he was in town for work.
     We met up at Jim Hanley's Universe and talked.  We then went over to 5 Guys Burger's And Fries and sat and  talked for what seemed like hours.  I was actually suprised to find out that the night was still young as it was only 8pm.
   We then headed over to Forbidden Planet, a store that I aways wanted  to visit.  Leave to an out of towner to show me this great place.    Elle found a toy that she wanted and was super hard to find everywhere else, and I bought a copy of the complete Conan novels by Robert Howard.   
   We then walked over to the Strand, one of, if not THE largest bookstore in Manhatten.
    By the time we made it to Toy Tokyo, it was closed.   At this point,  Elle and I headed for the train and went home.
   It was a pleasure to have met Dr Foom and  I hope we can meet again  and I double hope that he can join in a V&V game with us some day.

John and Elle, thanks again for making the trek into the city. I had a great time, and it was a real pleasure meeting both of you. Looking forward to doing it again, and next time playing in your game too.
