Some suggestions, first I volunteered Sylver Nightwind to proof read. She is good at that, and she said yes. ( I will have to pay her in coffee coolattas!)
Here are some suggestions for articles; Conversion Corner; we take turns picking a theme and everyone converts a characer. Say one month is Golden Age Marvel, another is Halloween characters for October, Myths, Giant Monsters, etc...
Another article; The Power Station; each month we have an indepth discusion about power, or we do a write up on a new power.
the obligitory interview with Jeff Dee and Jack Herman, if they are willing.
Character of the month, somoene submits a new character, complete with artwork every issue.
And "Dropping A Line" where we offer a short plot line for an adventure; a sort of mini module.
What do you think.
And I would love if all the character converstions and write ups followed Black Bolt's wonderful X Men write ups!
Here's what I've worked up so far.
The Tower of Babble - Incoherent ramblings from the Editor (me)
In the Spotlight - Interviews/Bios with various V&V creators (I've already sent out the first batch of questions to Stephen Dedman)
The Rouges Gallery - Villain Writeups
Up Coming Events - People can pimp any upcoming V&V con events.
New Product Showcase - Highlighting the latest V&V offerings.
Miniature Showcase - People can show off their Miniatures work. The guys at Team Frog (the people who make the V&V miniatures have offered to sponsor a miniatures competition), the Mini of the Month.
Actually, I like the name
Dropping a Line for a letters section, as that was one thing I used to love about my monthly comics haul.
And Conversion Corner sounds good too, as well as the Power Station, so both of them will be making an appearance. Plus, you just gave me an idea, in addition to discussing existing powers, it can also be used to highlight homebrew powers, and show them being used in an example of play.
And for the plot seed section, I think I'll keep it simple, and call it the GM's Corner. Sound good?
